Chapter 250 - Texture and cabbage

Ever since the mysterious incident Jin-joo passed through because of Nelly, she started keeping away from her. Thinking that her man's sister is a murderer or capable of hurting someone.

When Nelly talked to her mother about it, she ensure to discuss the issue with Jin-joo but even after the discussion, Jin-joo still felt frightened and kept hiding from her. On the other hand, Sebastian retrieved his closeness a bit from her unless she apologizes to his woman and she forgives him in return, till then will they become close siblings again.

"Try talking over it at her office, right girls?"

When the others nodded, she sighed and helplessly shook her head, "Seems like you guys are not getting it, are you?"

"Of course we are, Nel–"

Cutting Tasha off, Nelly snapped, "No you guys are making it worse and increasing the migraines in my head."

The others started from the pitch of her voice and slowly retrieved.

"She has been avoiding me. Whenever I visit her company, am always given a decline remark. Don't you get it? Jin doesn't want to see me and am responsible for her reasons."

Patting her shoulder, Rubie comforted, "Hey, there's no use in crying, it won't help issues right now."

"But what do I do? Calvin is not giving me too many quality time. Mom and Seb are acting like they hate me but–" Sobbing harder, she added, "I thought I was doing the right thing but I was just a stupid jerk." She toss the glass of juice away.

"Hey, calm down, you're gonna hurt yourself the more if you keep doing this." Wiping her tears, Anastasia sighed, "Everything you did was for our girly friendship, yes I do understand but you should also know that you went too far by choking her."

"Nelly, Ana is right. Jin is pregnant, you should have thought of that before doing what you did."

Nodding her head with a faint smirk, Nelly sniffed her nose, "Alright, pour out the blame on me, because–"

Cutting her off, Tasha snapped, "Gosh, that's your problem. We're still trying to help you fix one problem here and you're talking bout who's to be blame? Nelly, buckle up, please."

Evening,

Sebastian and Jin-joo's place

"Ah, two new girlfriends? What happened to the old ones, Kang-dae?" Petra gasped.

"Aunt, you see, most of the times one needs to try something different and good, right?" He grinned. "I had two girlfriends recently because I want to see who's best for me."

Slowly nodding her head, Petra gasped, "Now I see. So you abandoned the old ones because they're not qualified to be with an handsome guy like you, am I right?"

When he proudly shrugged with a smile, she chuckled and shook her head. "Oh this little boy, I wonder where kids of these days are gonna teach the upcoming generations."

"Forgot about bad tactics, Aunt." He winked and proudly tipped the top of his shirt. "Guys like me never tries to miss it. We eat the good texture and dump the cabbage." He whispered.

Walking down the stairs while busy with his phone, Sebastian asked, "What texture and cabbage is that?"

Recognizing the masculine's voice, Kang-dae got stunned and quickly turned towards him. Scratching the back of his head, "Eh, oh it's uncle Seb! Ah, you frightened me."

Pushing the pillow on the sofa aside, Sebastian sat down and raised his brows, "Frightened? Did you do something wrong or said something you shouldn't have?"

"I–what?" Vigorously shaking his head, he faked a chuckle, "Not at all uncle Seb. Aunt and I were just busy discussing about my new movie. It's quite stressing, you know. And she's giving me hints." When Petra frowned at him, he grinned.

How could he completely tell Sebastian that he was actually talking about his new affair with the two girls he met on his way here? He won't kill him but what he would do will be worse than killing. It's definitely possible he might scold him for having more than one female intimate peer and go further by spreading the information to his sister who's harsher than his mom and also pretty good at thrashing.

Letting out a chuckle, Sebastian helplessly shook his head, "What a coincidence. I was about to ask you more of your acting career. It suits you well and you fit in."

"Really?"

"Yes," Relaxing with legs crossed, Sebastian took a deep breath and added, "You see, when people finds themselves in a thing they know they're good at, they have to submit the whole of their efforts in it to make it interesting for the audience. In sense that, you as a young actor, is a very good decision making at an early age."

Placing her hand on her chest, Petra smiled, "My son always comes out with the best point of view." Looking at Kang-dae, she explained, "When he was nine, he went into some legal petty small job that could keep him busy after school and make fresh money in his piggy bank."

Slightly scrunching his brows, Kang-dae asked, "Wait, uncle Seb started hustling on his own at an early age?" Looking at Sebastian, "What petty job was that?"

"Gardener, lifeguard, dog walker, homework helper, lawn mowing, pet sitting and errands for elderly people." Calvin whom just stepped in with his fiancée and son, answered flat.

"Ah, Calvin, Nelly, you guys are here." Petra hugged them and took her grandson from Calvin.

Getting up, "Hey, isn't someone supposed to book a reservation before coming over?" Sebastian chuckled and gave them a hug. Though his hug towards Nelly was the lightest as he didn't give any concern or attention to her but just Calvin and his nephew Nicholas.

Standing before them, Kang-dae bow his head for a while and smiled, "It's a sign of respect from my place. I'm glad to meet you guys again."

"Me too." Nelly chuckled before glaring at Sebastian who had completely ignored her presence.

"Where is Jin?" Calvin asked.

"She's making dinner." Sitting on the couch, Petra cupped the chubby baby in her arms and kissed the top of his head, "Aww, I miss you my sweet grandson. Come on now, give me all the necessary information I need to know about how those two grumpy parents of yours had been treating you lately."
