Trying not to blush over his sweet coated voice, she tuckled a strand of hair and forced a smile, "It's so good to see you again after five years. What are you doing here?"
"Is it a bad thing that I came over to see my long time munchkin?" He chuckled and poke her side.
At once, she slapped his hands off with an awkward chuckle, "Hehehe, of course it's not a bad thing and you came out of awareness."
"Hmm, just want to put up a little surprise." He grinned and took off his shade, revealing his jet-black eyes. "Aren't you surprise to see me?"
"Okay, I am. So how's Aunt and uncle?" She placed her hands on her waist.
"They're doing fine in Japan." Shyly pointing below her, "You're pregnant?"
"You have eyes to see, Yusheng." She chuckled while rubbing allover her big belly.
"Isn't it good?" She wanted to pull his legs. Didn't her father try to force him on her? Well let her see how it goes.
He awkwardly cleared his throat with a nod and weak smile, "Of course, sure! Am so happy for you. By the way, who's the lucky guy?" Lee never told him about her pregnancy. He was stunned when he first walk in.
"Do you want to meet him?" She teased and he nodded. "Okay, I sent him on an errand, he should be on his way soon. Anyway, while he's still on the way, why don't we sit and talk as just friends do?"
"Yeah, sound pretty nice."
While they where on their way to the elevator they bumped into someone.
Kissing her lips, "Baby, so sorry for the slight delay." Sebastian uttered.
"Mhmm, it's alright, you shouldn't be in a rush anyway." She blushed.
"Here, I got you your favorite cookie and bubble tea and also the medicines from the pharmacy." He handed the little bag to her. Looking at the unfamiliar man standing beside her, he suggest him to be the Japanese guy.
When she noticed the both of them staring at each other and constantly glaring at her from time to time, she gasped, "My bad." And quietly cling to Sebastian.
With her hand on his chest and him kissing the back of her hand, she introduce, "Meet the love of my life, my better half, my everything, my husband-to-be, Sebastian. Honey, meet–"
"I know," Sebastian interrupted without taking his eyes off Yusheng. Looking down at her, he smiled, "There's no need to introduce him when I know him."
"But when?" She's confused.
"I guess?"
Extending his hand to him, "Nice to meet you." Yusheng awaits an handshake with a smile but who would have thought that Sebastian will dust him off and smirk.
Yusheng felt a bit insulted and embarrassed in sight of Jin-joo. Who does he think he is anyway? And he just turned him down in front of his friend.
Softly wrapping his arms around her waist, Sebastian kissed the top of her head, "Are you free now? It's time for your check-up. You know you can't miss it."
She lightly smacked her head, "Oh, I almost forgot but it can wait for later, right? I still have some works to finish here."
At first Sebastian thought she was indirectly talking about Yusheng. His eyes arrogantly pierce narrowing at his for a while before looking down at her.
"Really? Like seriously?"
"Sebastian, what do you mean?" She whispered while eyeing him.
"Are you apparently taking excuses for–you know what? Whatever business you have right now, has to wait for later or maybe tomorrow."
"But I–"
"No ifs and buts honey. Reschedule all your activities again, okay? I've already told you before to stop overworking yourself especially in this condition. It's hurts me just as much as it hurts my babies in there."
Oh great, there he goes again as usual. Always lecturing her and scolding her but she won't say anything because he is absolutely right. She work like a workaholic jerk. Try to take some chill pill Jin-joo.
