Opening the door, the employees walked in and spaced themselves, "Good afternoon boss."
Extending her hand, she raised her brows, "Hand it over."
The head of literature and publishing department Mr Wallis handed a scanty booklet to her and retrieved backward.
"Hope you people have been doing great during my absence?" Flipping over the pages, she smiled, "I didn't wish to see any errors because I don't have the strength to vent anger."
"Of course ma'am, everything was intact after you left. You can glance through and see for yourself."
"I know, I could see them here except the publishing list." Closing the book, she inquired, "How many books went out four weeks ago?"
Thinking for a while, the employees glared at each other and contemplated.
Jin-joo crossed her arms and patiently waited for them to answer.
"Sixty-eight thousand and ninety."
"And three weeks?"
"Eighty-two thousand." Another one said.
Rubbing her chin, she twitched her lips to one side, "Last two weeks?"
"Ninety-nine thousand and Fifty-seven." Some answered in unison.
Finding it enticing, Jin-joo sat up properly and inquired, "Last week?"
"One million,"
Raising her brows, she smiled, "Impressive, excellent, you guys are doing well."
"Boss," When she raised her brows, the employee hesitated.
"Go on, you can ask me anything."
"Umm–boss, I wanted to know between our company and the other branches in Seoul, which is doing better."
"Florence, its a tie." She nodded and smiled with her legs a d arms crossed, "You see, you people made me proud today. I'm so happy. I thought Seoul was the only company doing great but it seems like L.A is trying to get a hit."
Nodding his head in agreement, another employee added, "Of course ma'am, we are trying our possible best to come out at first for this year's nomination."
"And am glad you remembered that." Flipping over the pages, she instructed, "I'd love to see the records and remarks in the necessary files." Looking at them, "We can't keep the records in our heads, right? So do what is appropriate."
"Yes ma'am, we will do that ASAP."
"Good, when you're done with that, I'll like you all to take the day after tomorrow as a day off."
They widen their eyes and mouth in excitement and squealed, "Boss are you for real?"
"Absolutely yes," She smiled.
"Thank you ma'am, you're the bestest boss ever."
"Its alright," Placing the booklet on the table, "I'll keep this with me, while the rest of you do as I have instructed, is that clear?"
"Yes boss,"
"Alright, you all can get back to work now."
When they beamed excitedly and left, Jin-joo smiled.
Today after scolding the musical department and getting a slight headache, the literature department erased it with a shocking improvement.

Crossing his arms, Dong-Hyun frowned, "Amongst the both of you, who switched the list?"
Looking at each other, the nurses vigorously shook their heads.
"So are you trying to say that the list got changed on its own?"
