Chapter 213 - Chapter 213: The Sketchbook, Spirituality, and Fate, Part 2

"And here is my masterpiece, the one which I put much thought and heart on," Candace points us to a painting that is strategically placed in the very center of the room.

"This is what I call 'The Quicksilver Sky'. It represents the freedom of the human spirit to fly anywhere they want, unhindered by many things."

We observe that this painting consists of mostly blue shades, with some smatterings of yellow on the center.

Blue can mean either the sea or the sky and yellow can mean the sun or the sun's reflection in the sea.

Leigh comments, "Yup, you're right. We can feel a sense of calmness and freedom that are associated with the sea and the sky, respectively."

Aurora follows up, "And the sun tells us that there is still light in the midst of the darkness that surrounds our world."

With Candace's painting, we are reminded greatly of the blue sky and the blue sea that surrounds us, with the sun shining brightly on the horizon.
