Ever since the formal re-opening of Mushy Baby's Drift and the extension of its operating hours that comes with it, we, Brave Ad 65, take it upon ourselves to familiarize with the new employees who are working on the afternoon shift.
There are four people in charge of the kitchen, and leading them is Sharah Encabo, who once acted as the sous-chef for a restaurant in her hometown of Palm Springs, California that has since shuttered its doors last year.
"It's tough to leave the town I grew up in for the majority of my life," she said while we got acquainted with her earlier, "but if I wanted to progress, some sacrifices have to be made. Atlanta isn't much different from Palm Springs, anyway."
Due to growing up in a town close to the Mexican border, she is half-Caucasian and half-Latina, and even is adept in Spanish.
She maintains a stoic attitude, but if one pushes the right buttons, she shows her soft side at times.
