With the identity of the paparazzi's financier revealed via a clue dropped by a member of the anti-paparazzi group The Midnight Few 8463, the rest of the group itself is now mounting an offensive against the network of gossip rag sites that still persist even after the widespread condemnation.
The websites themselves are now being hit by distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks to dissuade people from visiting and endorsing those sites. And if that's not enough, the sites themselves are injected with malicious code that would serve as a gateway for a computer to be infected with viruses.
Meanwhile, someone has also found out the encrypted channels where the financier is channeling the funds to sustain the paparazzi network.
All of those acts are made possible by hackers who either are sympathetic to the victims of the paparazzi or were initially aligned to the paparazzi but later had a change of heart.
