Even when my family is not really that well-off, they sent me off to vacations when we really deserved one.
One opportunity came when my parents won an all-expenses paid trip to a resort near Lake Lanier in a raffle they otherwise were unenthusiastic about.
Indeed, good luck came at a time when we least expected it.
Trying to make the most of our winnings, my parents wanted to be at their best in terms of looks, hoping they would seduce each other and relive the days they were first in love with each other.
They toned their bodies and muscles in secret while still taking care of me.
And all of the swimsuits we wore were all hand-me-downs from several sources.
We shouldn't pay that much to look good and feel good, right?
And then the day came.
Thanks to a family friend, who offered to drive us to the resort and back, we were finally in a well-deserved vacation!
