"Second of all, a good number of people just accept what they are told by authority figures as fact, and there's not much critical thinking.
"And finally, they say it's OK for these authority figures to break the law and the Constitution, as long as what they're doing is for our good and for the good of all.
"These factors make people prone to misinformation and historical revisionism, and this makes our current political landscape more complicated than ever.
"One example of historical revisionism some cults impose on their members is how they mislabel the date of the start of World War I to suit their ulterior motive: To hasten the end of the world, and to present themselves as the only church that will go to heaven, while the rest will be thrown in the lake of fire forever.
"And to disobey those authority figures that reign in those cults is to shatter somebody else's delusion, and may lead to an altercation.
