It's been five days since Cahill traveled, promising to return after three days but he hasn't. His phones are dead and there's been no way to reach out to him. He and Simone left for a business meeting in another city and they haven't returned since then. And I've been extremely worried because such a thing hasn't happened before.
He cupped my cheeks in his hands, kissed me goodbye, and told me he was going to return in three days, and that I shouldn't miss him too much. We spoke over the phone that day and the next morning. And from the evening onwards, I didn't hear from him anymore. I wanted to call him, but I thought he was busy as hell so I waited until I fell asleep.
