It's eleven pm right now, and we're supposed to leave but Mathilda is still at Genova's grave. She's refused to leave that spot for the past three hours. Her mom and brothers reluctantly left, but she's still there, wallowing in guilt and regret. She's not even in tears anymore, but I knew in her heart, she was swimming in the ocean of her tears.

It pains me to see my wife like this, to see her hurting. I consider our two as one because whatever she feels, I feel too. It was three nights ago that she was trying to talk me into understanding her sister. Although there was no justification for what Genova did, the way Mathilda spoke to me made me pity her and even regret my actions.

It portrayed how she loved Genova dearly and didn't want her to get hurt over anything. So I asked the guards to release Genova and take her home, and then we figured she had committed suicide with a knife.
