"Husband, may I have a word with you?" I barge into Cahill's study without even knocking, although he's working with Simone I don't think I can wait any longer.
"Sure, what is it?" Cahill looks at me cautiously, his eyes searching mine already. It's been two hours since the whole incident with Genova. Since she said those awful things to me, I've been restless.
"Simone, can you excuse us?" My voice is low as I let this out.
"Sure, my Luna." Cahill's Beta rises immediately and takes his leave.
"Are you bothered by anything? Why aren't you in bed already, it's late," Cahill raises his fist and bites into it as he stares at me with those wandering blue eyes.
Placing my hand on my stomach, I lean toward and stand afront his desk. My throat works as I swallow, although my mouth feels dry already.
"I cannot sleep knowing she's locked in there, Cahill."
"What do you mean?" His brows furrow when he takes his hand off his mouth.
