A knock came on the door, Geoffrey was sitting in his sitting room alongside Veronica and their little baby girl watching a movie, the knock came again before Geoffrey stood up to check out who it might be that will be knocking at his door by this time of the night.
" who's there ?" he asked, yet no reply.
" who's there ?" he asked again ,
" it's Steven " the male voice finally said, upon hearing the name of his friend, Geoffrey opened the door.
Steven was standing close to the door and beside him was Michealson who was standing at his left while Felix was standing at his right, upon sighting Felix, Geoffrey tried to shut the door but Felix was fast enough to push the door open even more and enter alongside Steven and Michealson.
" Felix, Michaelson...what ..do you want ?" Geoffrey asked stepping backwards.
Felix ignored him until he was fully inside and that was when he saw the woman and a baby sitting on the couch, he recognised the woman very much, after all he knew her to be his sister's best friend, he was not surprised to know that she has given birth for Geoffrey, he was fully aware of their relationship and he was also aware of the pregnancy Even before Geoffrey got to know about it.
He causally and elegantly walk in , while Geoffrey stood behind him with caution.
Veronica on her own suddenly stood on her feet at the presence of Felix and Michaelson, she held unto her baby before she looked towards Geoffrey , giving him a look that says ' what are they doing here ?' while Geoffrey gave her the ' i don't know' gesture.
Geoffrey was forced on one of the couch by Michealson, while Veronica sat down on her own accord, Steven also was asked to sit down while Felix and Michaelson took their own seat, Felix sat opposite Geoffrey while Michaelson sat down beside him.
" So I will ask nicely " Felix said staring directly at a shaking Geoffrey.
" where is my sister ?" came his deep cold voice filled with all seriousness that one will be very much convinced that Felix is here for murder.
" I have no idea " Geoffrey answered at the same time he felt something sharp Pierced through his skin.
" ahhhh!!!" he yelled only for Michaelson to cover his mouth, even Veronica who was about to scream was shut up with just a look from Felix.
That cold murderous glance shut her up instantly.
Still with the knife inserted into his lower abdomen, Geoffrey could only wimp and gash for air.
" so... let's try this again..... where is my sister ?"
" I don't kn....ahhhh" Geoffrey let out as Michealson twisted the knife.
" I swear to God I don't know where your sister is she left the house after figuring out that Veronica has a baby for me " Geoffrey said without pausing.
Michaelson pulled out the knife, he glanced at Felix, Geoffrey almost felt relived thinking that he's free until Felix looked towards Veronica.
" go to your room and never come out till we're gone " Steven shrink upon hearing this and so did Geoffrey.
Veronica glanced at Geoffrey who nod at her, gently she stood up while carrying her baby and with one more look at the people, she ran upstairs to her room with her baby.
it was clear as daylight that her husband is in deep trouble and she's sure it's not something related to Mandy Rose disappearance.
downstairs, Felix askeded Steven to leave and without thinking twice, Steven ran out.
Immediately Michaelson pushed Geoffrey to the floor while Felix gave him a hard blow on his cheek that sent blood coming out from his mouth.
" you f*cking snitch on me with the Chinese?" Felix asked as he gave Geoffrey a kick on his stomach.
" you bloody Bas*erd, I brought you onboard but you want to throw me overboard " Felix said as he gave Geoffrey another kick.
" where's Xin Zhao Wei now huh ?" this time around it was Michaelson who grabbed Geoffrey by the Collar and punched him on the face.
Geoffrey spat out blood before he stubbornly glanced at Michaelson before Felix.
" The Chinese pays more " he said, he knew that he's digging his own grave but who cares, his kind of business has placed him in near death experience before but none has been against the Devil of the underworld.
" oh! really ?" Michealson asked, it was more of his own way of telling Felix to let him handle things his own way, Felix understanding Michaelson's word took a seat and sat down with his eyes fully on Geoffrey.
Geoffrey looked from Felix to Michaelson and then Felix before it finally settled on Michealson who was still standing.
" You might have forgotten why they call him the Devil of the underworld, well am here to remind you that " Michaelson said , he Swat before Geoffrey, who moved backwards a little.
" here in Africa, we rule the Mafia world, in the seven continents of the Earth we also rule the Mafia world, while don't you ask Don Costello Antonio the Italian Mafia king " Michealson said as he stabbed Geoffrey with the knife on his shoulder while tracing it down with every single word he spoke.
" still yet you can't take down Gary Carter " Michealson punched Geoffrey the moment those statements left his lips.
" what ? you don't want to accept the truth ?" Geoffrey said with a mischievous smile on his lips, right after he regained himself from Michaelson punch.
" you know nothing " Felix said out loud.
" I know alot Felix, remember, I worked for you once " Geoffrey said which made Felix to chuckle .
" you know the main reason why you're still alive is because my sister doesn't want you dead "
" speaking of your beloved sister, dose she know what you do for a living ?" Geoffrey asked.
Michaelson wanted to kick Geoffrey but Felix stopped him.
" am Felixstowe, and am promising you one thing... if anything happens to my sister that I don't like trust me i will kill you myself "
After that statement , Felix stood up and walked out closely followed by Michaelson.
Veronica ran downstairs after hearing the sound of the door been slammed .
with her baby girl in her arms she rushed over to her husband who was already in a pool of his own blood.
Geoffrey knew that his life is currently in danger, he has to move out of this city maybe Kogi State will be the best option for now.
