On the streets of Lostvale, Seth and Kayne ran for the gates. The tinge of red in the sky had spread and its crimson halo now covered Lostvale.
Seth thought as he continued forward. 'Should I inform Knight? Knowing him, he probably doesn't suspect a thing. Hmmm… he can manage by himself. I don't have time to waste.'
Kayne stopped ahead of him. "Wait… there is something wrong."
There were others in the same situation as him, which caused the streets to be busy with departing adventurers. Minute by minute, more adventure poured into the street and headed for the gate.
Yet, just when Seth and Kayne were infinitely closer to the gate, a beam of energy shot from the center of Lostvale. As soon as it reached the sky, it unveiled a blue dome surrounding Lostvale.
