Riya woke up quite early in the morning and just laid there silent, staring at the ceiling. She looked sideways at Rick and smiled as he continued to sleep peacefully. She turned and got out of bed and walked towards the window. She scanned the still dark property and sighed.
"Walk with me." She suddenly heard in her head.
She smiled hearing Voleth Meir's voice and turned to walk out of the room. She opened the door quietly and slipped out.
Riya walked downstairs to the living room where she saw Voleth Meir standing with her back turned to her. She walked closer to her and greeted her before they slipped out into the cold morning. The morning was cold and chilly as they continued to walk in silence.
"They found us." Voleth Meir said, breaking the silence.
"Who?" Riya asked.
"Adonis and Tira." Voleth Meir answered and sighed.
"With the magic that strong surging through the air yesterday, they ought to." She added.
"What are we going to do now." Riya asked, turning to face her.
"We wait for their first move." She answered casually.
They continue to walk for a while before turning back to go inside. When they got inside, Riya went back to her room while Voleth Meir went to her library.
Riya opened the door and walked into the room, realizing suddenly that Rick had woken up and was standing by the window.
"Couldn't sleep?" He asked as she walked towards him.
"Yeah, just took a walk with Voleth Meir to kill time for a bit." She replied hugging him from behind.

Tira watched Adonis from the corner of her eyes, and no matter how much she put it, the man seemed deranged. She watched as he conversed and laughed with his demon. They had planned to stake out Meridith's hideout in Cairo today.
She walked towards the window and looked out to the cold morning in resignation, she'd just have to put up with him for now to get back at Meridith, then she'd get rid of him and that annoying thing attached to him. Looking back at them, she just couldn't remember how she got herself involved with them, all the senseless killing sprees and stupid orders. She turned back to look out the window and sighed.
"She fears us, she could betray us." Adonis' demon whispered in his ears.
"We need her for now." He replied and turned to look at Tira who was standing by the window, looking lost in her thoughts.
"Yes Master." The demon responded as he eyed Tira.
"We go this moment." He said out loud for her to hear.
She nodded and turned from the window, walking towards him as she chanted something.

Riya sat close to the small stream as she watched Voleth Meir play with some butterflies. They had been training all morning after everyone fully woke up and came downstairs for breakfast, they had decided to train again today since they were both already restless to start with.
Elijah had been following them about all morning, which is proof that Voleth Meir must have told him what she told her this morning. She looked sideways spotting him at a corner, sitting under a tree with his hands crossed.
"Do you think they might be able to break through the boundaries?" Riya asked out loud.
"Definitely, the boundaries are already messed up, thanks to Nephele and I haven't had time to fix it again." Voleth replied and sighed out loud.
"But they won't know what hit them, you have your demon side already awakened." She added and smiled wildly.
"No they won't." Riya replied, smiling inwardly.
Elijah just sat there still silent and annoying still.
Suddenly, Voleth Meir closed her eyes and opened them wide again before running to Riya and dragging her up.
" They're here." She said and turned to Elijah.
"Great then." Elijah responded casually.
"And they brought friends, how pleasant, I've been bored." He added and stood up with a sardonic smile playing on his face.
" Thank goodness the maids are out today." Voleth muttered
They went back to the house with a portal and started getting everyone ready the moment they appeared in the living room. Voleth Meir asked Jimmie to keep Rick company and out of sight for now till it was over and walked outside the house to join Elijah and Riya in the fields.
"Do you think they'll be fine?" Rick asked with worry evident in his voice.
"They will." Jimmie assured him and pat his shoulder lightly before leading him to one of the top floors where they could watch from a safe distance.
Outside on the field, Riya watched as Adonis and Tira appeared with almost a hundred ugly looking demons. Riya immediately felt tense but was reassured by Voleth Meir's light squeeze on her shoulder.
"It's never a pleasure to see you witch." Adonis said, directing his gaze to Voleth Meir.
" The feeling's mutual Adonis." She said bluntly.
Tira's gaze was focused on Riya the whole time as she stood beside Adonis quietly taking in the whole scenery. Riya also had her eyes only on Tira and noticed that something was off about her today but couldn't place her finger on it.
"Bring me the girl, kill the rest." Adonis said and stepped back as the demons went for Voleth Meir while Tira went for Riya.
Elijah burst into flames and went for Adonis who smiled seeing this. Tira walked slowly towards Riya smiling as she whispered something. Riya did a counter spell, already aware of what she wanted to do. She wanted to trap her like Adonis did last time in the Palace.
Instead, she countered the spell, opened a portal and walked into it, daring Tira to follow her as she looked over her shoulder with a smile. Tira took the bait and jumped into the portal, following her before it closed.
They appeared in the garden where her and Voleth Meir always trained together and Riya went to stand close to the stream as Tira stepped out of the portal.
"I figured you and I would prefer this setting." She said smiling ear to ear.
"You bet." Tira replied and lunged at her.
Riya smiled as a flicker of red flashed in her eyes. Tira saw it and halted with shock evident on her face. She opened her mouth to speak but couldn't then she did something unexpected.
She slit her upper arm and drew blood before using the bloodied knife to draw a symbol on her palm, she then held up her palm to Riya. Riya smiled seeing the symbol and just stood there unmoving.
