Royal capital.( The palace)
Leon is standing on his chambers balcony overlooking the beautiful street of his capital. He is back from the queen's chamber.
Happy will be an understatement. He was clearly overjoyed, smiling from eye to eye.
" Congratulations my king. May she have a long and joyful life." said Richard from behind him.
" Thank you tutor." Leon said with a smile on his face." Welcome."
" I want to send invitations to my governors and chiefs personally." calmly said Leon.
Richard was starting to have some doubts about the invitation after the mention of chiefs.
" Why the sudden invitations my king. If I may ask." asked the worried Richard.
" Because it is my precious daughter's birthday." plainly answered Leon.
" And I have some things to discuss with the invited lords."
That was even worse than just an invitation. what if he recognises his son with his fatherly instincts during the discussion of he is to be invited.
He had to warn Arthur. He should avoid any kind of contact with the king if invited.
" I have more to discuss with the chief of Halin."
Richard almost choke on his own saliva.
" What! Why?" he asked. Looking for any change of expression on Leon's face.
" What? Are you even asking that."
" If I can remember clearly. You were the one that suggested we send some more men to Halin town so that the chief can protect our borders more efficiently."
" You said there have been some bandits who are trying to make sure that the trade there will not be prosperous." concluded Leon.
" Oh, I see. " was the only thing he said after the explanation from Leon.
He cursed himself for suggesting something that would jeopardize the stability of the state.
This might lead to a state division if the father recognise his son or the son acknowledges his father.
Either way this will wreck unimaginable havoc.
" And why are you acting all weird about this Halin chief." suspiciously asked Leon.
" That's not true. It's just that my suggestion was a long time ago but you still remember. I'm surprised." said Richard with a straight face.
" I cannot forget your suggestions. Did you forget you were and are still my tutor Richard.Your suggestion has weight in my eyes." sincerely said Leon.
" I heard that his father-in-law died and write in his will that he was his heir."
" Yes." came Richard's short answer.
" That is interesting. That shows how competent he is. To make the previous chief willing to place his son in law on his thron instead of his blood son."
Richard was the only one who knew the reason for the late chief to choose another heir other than his son.
He had some evidence about his failed plans against the state. Which could lead to the execution of him and his family.
What was the need of an heir who will be executed after his death.
The offer of general Richard was way better. Marrying a second wife and acknowledging her son as the heir to his throne.
The second deal was that he will never lay a finger on the lady that he is to marry.
" Richard! "
" Yes my king."
"Are you even listening to me. You seem distracted by your thoughts. Care to share what is bothering you?" asked Leon. His eyes full of concern.
" Thanks for your concern my king. But I'm not bothered by anything."
" If you say so."
" About what I was saying. I will be sending the letters by noon have the messengers ready for the letters."
" Noted my king"
" Lastly. Have a nice rest after the task. you seem tired tutor."
Richard wanted to decline the offer but was shut by Leon.
" It's an order."
He couldn't say anything else or that would mean that he is defying a direct order.
