Alex 10:30 pm
I locked the bathroom door and a few seconds later I heard Nate walk out and slam the door. My body relax as the cold water streamed down. I couldn't help but cry some more I needed to let everything out.
I stepped out of the shower, drying myself, and putting the hoodie on which was suprisingly big on me. A few moments later I heard Nate entering the room. I slowly stepped out tugging on the neck of the hoodie.
"Your eyes are puffy." he said softly making his way across the room to me. His once warm hands were now cold but my irritated eyes appreciated the coolness of them. I listened as he instructed me to sit on the bed as he turned the lights off, and sat down next to me choosing a movie. A horror movie. Let's just say horror movies and I aren't the best of friends.
I could feel the vibrations of his chuckles each time I jumped or hid behind him, each time I apologized profusely. I couldn't help but smile a bit, being taken back to when I was 10. Back when we were closer. I would hide behind him anytime I got scared,
"I miss that it." I whispered to myself without even realizing it. I let out a quiet sigh, stretching a bit, and yawning. My eyes fluttered a bit and everything went black.

I flinched the moment I felt Alex's head hit my shoulder. I slightly turn to look at him and hesitated a bit before running my hand through his soft brown curly hair. Wrapping it around my finger, he stirred but instead of waking up a small smile had made its way onto his face. I chuckled softly while my hand slowly made its way down to his face, gently tracing it with my fingertips. Stopping at his lips.
"What am I doing?" I groaned quickly removing my hand. I need to get my head straight. I thought to myself while turning the TV off. I made myself comfortable and faced the wall letting the darkness consume me.

I shifted as a groaned moving a bit. I felt a warmth surrounding me, making me dizzy in a good way I didn't want it to leave. I felt even more weight on me. I opened my eyes to see Nate's face only 2 inches away from mine. We were in a tangle of arms in legs, his hand securely wrapped around my waist. Slowly I managed to carefully move out of his grasp. I made my way downstairs to see a huge mess from the party.
Seeing as I had nothing to do I began deep cleaning, leaving no place uncleaned. It took me two hours as I sigh feeling both accomplished as I made breakfast for Nate. I wrote a little note placed it beside the plate and grabbed my phone. I had charged it while cleaning and texted Anthony. Let me tell you he was worried sick.
"Beep, Beep." I turned to look at the car jogging down the long sidewalk to Anthony.
"What happened? Are you alright? did Nate do this to you? I swear I'll kill him." he started as soon as I got in
"Anthony calm down nothing happened. Take it easy, Nate didn't do anything to me. My phone died and I didn't know how to get home."
"Really? Is that all? Don't lie to me, Alex."
"I'm not lying I swear," I said trying to hide the guilt I felt for not telling him about everything that happened yesterday.
"Okay..." he replied still not buying it. I leaned against watching the beautiful scenery of it drizzling. Anthony rolled down the windows a bit knowing that I like the air when it rains. I honestly don't know what I would do without him. As far as I'm concerned he's the only family I have and he's the best.
