While Harold and Anya were outside, Sheila had just given Blake the cyan-colored potion to drink. As he was already unconscious, she had to sit him right and pour the potion down his throat. After a few seconds, the complexion of his face started returning. His face wasn't pale anymore. Sheila heaved a sigh of relief seeing this. She knew that kids get excited when they first awaken their soul-spirit but exhausting your chakra the very next day was not a good idea at all.
An hour later Blake woke up and saw Sheila was sitting beside him on the bed and reading a book. She looked at Blake and smiled as she said "So you decided to wake up huh, sleeping beauty?"
Hearing this Blake's eyes twitched. He had just woken up from getting exhausted that this little witch had only this to say? That was the only question looming in his mind.
"How long was I out for?" Blake asked.
"An hour. Let's go out. Everyone is waiting." Sheila said and Blake nodded as he woke up from the bed and adjusted his clothes. After making sure that everything was fine Sheila exited the room followed by Blake.
Seeing that Blake was alright Harold sighed and Anya started bombarding Blake with questions.
"What did Harold make you do?"
"Was his training too harsh?"
"How do you feel now?"
Listening to all these questions Blake was overwhelmed and he couldn't say anything but keep staring at Anya. Seeing this Arya looked at Blake first and then at Anya and said
"Mom, Blake isn't saying anything. Looks like he hit his head too hard when he fell unconscious."
"Hahaha..." Sheila started laughing followed by Harold and Simon.
"Arya seems like you need to hit your head as well." Anya said and twisted Arya's ear.
"Ouch..Ouch...mom please don't. I am sorry Blake. Mom please let go." Arya pleaded and Anya released her ear. While the tear eyed Arya was rubbing her red ear, Harold was looking at how was Blake's condition.
Blake looked at Anya and said "Don't blame Uncle Harold, actually it was me who pushed it too far. He did tell me again and again to stop when I feel exhausted."
Anya smiled at that and said "It's good that you are okay and taking care of you during training is his responsibility."
Blake looked at Harold and asked "Can we resume our training now? I feel perfectly fine." he also moved around his arms to show that his body wasn't sore.
Harold looked at Anya and Sheila for permission. Sheila chuckled and said "Fine you can go but remember you fall unconscious again and we will stop the training for a whole day. So remember to train in moderation." Anya also smiled and nodded to this making Harold sigh in relief.
A smile beamed on Blake's face as he said "Yes Aunt Sheila I will take care of it."
Harold said "Blake go back to the training ground. I am right behind you." Blake nodded after listening to this and left the house.
Harold looked at Anya and Sheila and said "Take Simon and Arya to the equipment room and get a physical analysis on her. Kevin and Maria will help you in it. Maria will also prepare a good diet for them."
Anya and Sheila nodded at that. They both knew that these tests will give a baseline to the children's physique and they can measure the improvement more efficiently this way.
Seeing that his wife and Sheila agreed, Harold left the house as well to train Blake. As he reached the training ground he saw that Blake was doing the same exercise that he was doing when he fainted. He was trying to make the tentacle long while while making it thin as well.
Harold walked closer to Blake and reminded "Blake remember doing something once isn't enough. You need to feel the control and it should become second nature. For now don't think how thin or thick you want the tentacle, just make it long enough that it can wrap around an object easily."
Blake nodded and extended the tentacle to a human head head sized rock near him. The plan was to wrap the rock but just as the tip touched the rock it spread on the rock and corroded it.
Blake knew this would happen so he took the tentacle back and looked at Harold.
'I knew it would corrode but the tentacle isn't dense enough to maintain its shape when it touches anything. Blake needs to solve that problem first.' Harold thought and as he noticed Blake's gaze on him he said.
"Blake don't let your tentacle lose shape unless you want it to. Make it more denser and strong like a thick vine." Blake nodded and concentrated on the tentacle again but this time he imagine a 5 cm diameter vine. He also imagined it to intertwined against each other to increase its overall strength. He had stopped considering the purple smoke as smoke rather he now imagined at just some kind of energy.
In front of Harold the entire structure of the tentacle started changing dramatically. At first it divided into hundreds of purple threads. Seeing this Harold thought that Blake had lost control over it so he wanted to help but then he saw that all these hundreds of threads were moving in sync.
They started intertwining against each other and weren't behaving like smoke or liquid. They were behaving like physical threads.
'Wow that's an unexpected breakthrough. Just hope he doesn't faint or else I am on the couch tonight.' Harold thought as he wiped his sweat. The wisps of purple smoke which was normally coming out was there anymore. It was as if the thing in Blake's hand was a real thick dark purple rope.
Blake opened his eyes and his eyes widened. He looked at Harold and said "I did it and instead of feeling tired I feel even more energized."
Harold raised his eyebrows and thought "Ohh...looks like the density of dark mana increased more than I expected. This is a boost for his soul spirit but I have to work on Blake's physical training as well...or else his body won't be able to handle this much magic power.
