The ASB unit was definietly not having a fun time as they were fighting in the Tokyo's sewers with two demons that were running away.
"Fuck me and the safe classiciation. It's definietly Newton." One of the soldiers said as they threw a flashbang into a corner and successfully blinded one target. "ASB Command do you hear me? It's Newton."
In the command center sat Jin behind the screen, as he flicked few switches and entered few buttons on the screen. "Roger that, changing class to Newton. Come back alive."
"Roger that command." One of the soldiers said as he hang out and went in further into the sewers, and let the lighter on with the night-vision googles. "Damn it's darker than in somebody's ass."
"No joke." A feminine voice said in his comms as he turned around. "Watch out captain, we do not know what these demons have in their arsenal aside few fireballs."
"True... Just because they can use magic effectively - I would classify them at Newton." Male soldier said as he walked tightly near his squadmate. "Clear?"
"Clear so far.. My anomalous scanner shows no sing of demons roaming around." The lady said as she was walking slowly, aiming down sights. "I'm getting claustrophobia."
"Same... But we gotta push." The male soldier said as he was getting nervous.
"Say commander... You got time for a date after we finish that job?" Female soldier asked as she was paying attention to the surroundings. Aside from the usual scenery of the sewers nothing changed.
"Hehehe... Why asking?" Commander asked as he turned around.
"Well.. I got entire two weeks of paid leave later, bored... I'm home alone... And I would like to have some fun with somebody around." Female soldier said with a flirty tone. "Besides I like guys with scars."
"Even the mental ones?" Commander asked as he heard something and checked the corner, to see nothing. "If you knew what we had to contain early in the formation of ASB... You would go nuts. Not everyone is strong mentally to survive the encounters with the demons that first shown up."
"Heard stories from the Veterans. They say that General Kitagawa fought 20 of them and barely went out alive." Female officer said as she put her gun on the shoulder. "They run away didn't they?"
"Propably. Command, visual contact with the target lost." ASB soldier said as he put his hand on the headset.
"Roger that, soldier. Continue searching if you can or RTB. No sense of wasting energy." Jin said as he observed the scanners and readings from the helmets.
The female soldier let out a sigh as she grabbed the helmet and unpinned it from the suit, letting the air go out from it in a form of a cloud, turning her head around letting her hair go around. "Ah damn I could sometimes stop breathing in that helmet."
"Yea same. Remind me your name?" Male soldier asked as he did the same with his helmet.
"Aoi. Yours, commander?" Aoi asked as she looked at the soldier in front of her.
"Ichiro." Ichiro said as he smelled something and started to sniff the air.
"Nice to meet you... Ichiro what you doing?" Aoi asked as she got confused and then smelled the same scent.
"You smell that? We did not smelled that before no? Because of the helmets." Ichiro said as he tried to get where this is coming from.
"Yea.. I thought we can smell things in these..." Aoi said as she tried to feel where the smell is coming from.
"The helmet makes it impossible for others to hear things we say - we talk entirely through comms." Ichiro said as he took a walk around for a bit as he felt that in specific direction the smell got stronger. "The fuck is stinking like that. This direction." Ichiro was wondering what would it be.
"Gas maybe? These are the sewers after all." Aoi asks as she puts on the helmet, but tightens up her hair so the helmet have easy time fitting in.
"Maybe... But this smells different. I spent some time on sewer chases this... Smells different." Ichiro said as he put on the helmet back on and made all systems online.
Outside of the big sewers entrance was standing a big armored SUV that served as a mobile command for the team, alongside with two small trucks. The dish was rotating as usual, enabling the communication between the strike team that went off and now shown up.
"Ichiro, Aoi you there? You went us out from the radar for a while. Everything all right?" Male voice asked as he contacted them.
"Yea... So the helmet also got transponders?" Ichiro asked as he maintained connection.
"Yea. That way we know you are alive. No worries we do not record your chat, lovebirds." He chuckled as Aoi got mad.
"Johny, you dam bastard... Should have known this is under surveilance." Aoi said as she lashed out in a bit of anger before calming down. "The demons can use smell to trap others?"
"Yea some of them why asking?" Johny asked as he relaxed on the office chair.
"Because this seems to be the only way we could know they are still here." Aoi said as she made the comms operator worry.
"Shit... So they adapt." He let out a sigh. "Fine, move on... If you got troubles let us know."
"Roger." Aoi said as she moved her head in the direction they go. "Come on, Ichiro. Let's go."
"Yea.. Better not keep them waiting. Johny, does ASB plan to reorganise the containment names?" Ichiro asked as he went with Aoi and both turned right in the corridors.
"Yea they do, because it's ineffective." Johny said as he took a cup of coffee nearby the keyboard and took a sip from it. "Glad you asked, i was told to tell you guys about it before."
"Good to know." Ichiro said as hhe let out a sigh, before they both focused on finding the demons inside the room when Rin entered the van.
"Oh, General Kitagawa." Johny said as he turned around, giving the commander full attention. "What can I do for you, General?"
"I want a status update, no jokes this time, Cage." Kitagawa said as he folds his hands close to his chest.
"Well, we are still searching them but the demons are... Learning to avoid our anomalous radars, sir." Johny said as he pointed at the radar.
"How?" He asks as he is not sure of how they manage to do it.
"We do not know but our agents are still scouting the area."
"Good." Rin said as he let out a smile as he watched two dots moving in the sewers.
It did not took long for the survey team to search through the vast corridors of the Tokyo Sewers as they entered a giant rounded space with 12 corridors leading god knows where.
"So... Dead end?" Aoi asks as she looks at Ichiro.
"Nah... Something picked up on my sensors, hide."
"Where?" Aoi asked as she looked around and pointed at a random tunnel. "There~! Enabling video feed transmission to the mobile command."
"Got it." Ichiro and Aoi made a bet. Wrong tunnel to hide in from the threat would be their end. Luckily they got the right one, as they saw something fall in the middle of the circled room as the two demons they were now chasing, took off their capes. One man and one woman, with visible horns and tails, both had silver hair.
"So... Why they are called Rouges again?" Aoi asked as she was glad the helmet was supressing the voice and not letting anything out aside the comm line.
"Because they endulge in sin to either survive on souls or because they are addicted to the power of the sin... Usually lust but sometimes it's worse thing." Ichiro said as he aimed his gun at the monster.
The monster itself looked like a giant spider, 5 meters long, 2 meters wide, with 12 legs and a human half. The half looked like an attractive human woman in her 30s, with red hair.
"Ah. my children... I hope you managed to get what I asked for?" The monster asks in a creepy distorted tone.
"Yes, mother." The man said as he gave her a usb drive, and the demon opened it's hand, putting in the usb to see the thing on the screen.
"Mother!?" Aoi and Ichiro asked in surprise, with only saving grace being their helmets. "The fuck!?" Aoi asked as she looked at Ichiro.
"Be quiet, Aoi." Ichiro said as he put his finger against his helmet.
"Ah, perfect. This upgrade does indeed make wonders ha... All right we got what we need. The shards we will eat, will grant us ascention..." The spider monster got excited of the findings. "Find them... One of them is living in the city... Bring them here."
"Yes, Mother." Both of the younger demons bowed, as they retreated, opening rifts inside the reality, and got into them, dissapearing after these rifts closed.
"Fuck... What we gonna do?" Aoi asked as she put her hand on the corridor's wall.
"We run. No way we are staying here any longer.." Ichiro said as he looked at them.
"But this bitch is going to see us." Aoi said a bit upset.
"Command." Ichiro said as he put his hand on the helmet. "Do you see everything?"
"Loud and clear Viper 1." Johny said as he smiled. "General, requestion deployment permission for Husar One and Husar Two.
"Granted. Authorisation code Omega Alfa one three seven." Rin said as he smiled, looking at the other van.
"Roger. Launching Anti-personel mechs. Husar 1, Husar 2, you are good to go guys."
"Finally some action~!" Two soldiers from the ASB smiled as they pressed a button on the side of the cockpit of the mech and opened it, jumping into it.
The mechs themselves were standard in their appearance. Four legs that resembled the ones of a four-legged spider, and a human torso, with a robotic head above it, with two arms armed with a chaingun and a rocket launcher, grapple hook and a flamethrower.
The mech moves with a diesel engine and were quite fast - 35 kilometers per hour.
The mechs moved out of the truck the moment the doors were open. Their armament was perfect to fight the demons they were sent to fight against.
"Husar one, husar two, roll out~!" The mechs rolled in with quite a speed and right to the circle where the ASB soldiers are now stuck.
"So... 30 minutes huh? What you recommend? Anti-magic jamming or... We just out right fire at will?" Mech pilot asked as he stared at the mech on the left.
"Anti-magic jamming first. You know the procedure." Mech pilot said as he launched the jammer, making the demon defensless - if she wanted to use magic.
"Roger that. Magical field jammer online." Husar 2 said as he engaged the jammers and aimed at the demon with a red laser pointer.
In the same time, Aiko and Ichiro were looking at the mechs
"Finally~! Support~!" Aoi said as she waited for first shots, aiming at the monster as well, with her rifle. SG 553 to be specific.
The mechs that got the monster's attention now were in full opening as the autoloaders loaded in the ammunition to the 88mm guns on their shoulders.
"Damn these mortals~!" The demon yelled at them both as they fired the guns, letting the shells go in the spider-like monster's direction, barely holding up against a barrage from on-hand miniguns and the artillery shelling. "My... Shield won't survive for long..."
"Good." Aoi said as she fired a small grenade from the launcher under the SG 553 and ran, letting the flashbang in the air. "FLASHBANG! COVER YOUR EYES~!"
"Got it." Ichiro and the mech pilots said as the monster got blinded.
"AAAAAH~! WHO GOT THE LIGHTS ON!?" Demon yelled out in a modulated voice as she covered her eyes, walking around disoriented, still shelled by the mechs, and treated with 5.56 bullets by the two ASB operators.
"Eat this, bitch~!" Ichiro yelled out as he threw a grenade at her, exploding fragments near her face.
"Fuck.... Aaaaah~! My eyes~! It hurts~!" Demon tries to stay focused byt can't as the grenade wounded the demon's eyes, giving them a window to run as they jumped in the mech number 2 and escaped.
"Thanks." Aoi said as she took time to catch some air. "Fucking demons, never thought I will have to work as a fucking exorcist."
"Me neither. This is Husar one, we got Viper one and Viper two out into safety. I recommend blowing this entrance up when we are out so the demon have harder time coming out.
"Roger." Johny said as he looked at Rin.
"Authorised. Blow the shit out of the entrance." Rin said as he took Jin's microphone.
"General Kitagawa's with you?" Ichiro asked Johny.
"Ye. He is here." Johny said as he let out annoyed sigh. "Kinda hate it here."
"No worries we are out of the sewers in few minutes." The pilot of the mech said it with enthusiasm as they were getting closer to the exit. When they did, the two platforms stopped near the truck that housed the mechs, with Aoi and Ichiro jumping off the legs.
"Thanks for the ride, dude." Aoi said as she landed on the ground.
"Yea no joke, if not for you guys, we might be stuck there." Ichiro said as he looked at the mech. "New toys, general?"
Rin was standing in the van's back doors as he looked at the strike team. "Yea, new toys. That's enough for today, blow it up. The entrance - I mean." Rin said and added a detail before they could do anything stupid, with mechs turning around and firing at the ceiling.
"Done, and done." ASB mech pilot said as he got out of the cabin and relaxed. "Finally free time~!"
"Not for long you know that right?" Other mech pilot said as he patted his shoulder.
"Yea, I know."
