Everyone must know his story already. But let me help you recall.
Jack is a country boy that is living with her mother with a poor status. Jack trades a family cow for magical beans, which when he planted on the ground, it grew into an enormous beanstalk that reached even the clouds. Jack climbs the beanstalk and found himself in a very big castle. He then was chased out of the castle with a Giant as he is holding goods from the castle itself, climbs down the beanstalk and his mother helped chopped it off where the Giant fell and died. Jack and his mother made use of the goods(hen that lays eggs & a harp that plays and sings by itself (according to google))he got from the castle and never went poor again.
But it also had an effect on his life. People nearby them heard about it and went crazy. Every single day, different people; even from another land came and looked for their house. Jack's mother first thought it was amazing that they were being known to other nations but it became a nuisance to them after time.
They couldn't live the silence like they did before. 'Cause every day, they have to hide in their house because of so many people surrounding them all the time asking about the golden harp, and the Hen. They also tried to move, but couldn't when they were found by neighboring houses. It was all fine when what the people only wanted to know is how they got it. But, It got worse.
Some people tried to even steal it. So they had to hide the Hen, and the harp. But people always found them. They knew why. 'Cause every night, they hear noises coming from outside and sometimes hear it from in their house!
People were going crazy! Jack and his mother thinks of a plan on how to hide from all the attention when jack suggested to live on a mountain no one goes to. Ever. THe mother was elated to the idea but soon when she thought it all, she remembers something.
"We can't move there. From an old tale, my mother used to tell me that there are living creatures in that mountain and one time, when a traveler went up the mountain, the traveler never came back again." She said looking all serious to Jack. It was for jack to never have thoughts like that again, or their life will be in danger. But Jack is bothered by the people more than the Tale. So to confirm, in the middle of the night, Jack leaves their house as silent as he can so he doesn't alarm his mother.
He quietly walks up to his mother's bedroom and didn't found his mother there. Now he was the one alarmed. He was curious and was also a little afraid his mother might have seen him packing the things he might need earlier.
He turns his back on to his mother's room and looked for her. He's now focused at where his mother could be. He looks for her outside, where they keep their chickens, her bedroom, again, and everywhere in the house but still negative.
I can't find her anywhere! He thinks to himself. When a spark came to his mind. He remembers a place that has high possibilities that his mother's gonna be there. He gets a torch and lights it up. He avoided the people guarding their house and made his way to the dark forest. It was so dark and the torch died when a swung of wind came by. He lets go of the torch and walks even faster as he hears the frightening tweets of some birds around the forest. His sights saw nothing but darkness and was starting to be afraid as his mind started to do hallucinations. He stopped and looked back to come back but to his horror, he was already far to go back now.
He then turns his head in front quickly as he heard a branch crack and squealed as he saw his mother's face so close that he could see her clearer than glass.
She puts her hands on his arm gently holding him. "what are you doing here, son? I was worried when I didn't found you in your room." He sighs relief as his mother moved back her face. "I…I'm sorry, mother." He says as he can't tell her he was planning on going to the mountain after her warning. When they went back home, Jack saw no people surrounding their house. It became a relief to him. "what happened to the people that was just here mother? Where are they?"
His Mother tilts her head down a little and smiled at him. "We can live in peace now, son. Don't worry about them."
She looks forward and sighs relief as she smiles at their house. "They're…..Gone." she adds.
