Nashi blinked as she was awake now laying flat on a big bed. She felt like she had a nightmare as she fuzzed with trying to remember her dream but couldn't. She gave up and decided to go see her little brother Liddan. She edged herself at the edge of the bed still sleepy as she landed safely and came downstairs to the kitchen where she saw lucy cooking.
"Mommy? I'm hungry…"
"Yes I know Nashi, don't worry mamas making you your favorite today! Spicy sausages!"
*lucy flipped the sausages giving Nashi her back as she cooked. Nashi sat on the table wondering when was Liddan coming downstairs, or if daddy was coming back from his mission finally after a month. She yawned as she heard a familiar voice.*
"Nashi, are you that sleepy you forgot about papa already?"
*natsu asked with a sad tone, he taunted Nashi as he always did whenever he would see her down or sad.*
"Da-ddy?"
*Nashi couldn't believe her eyes as she saw her daddy not as the messy hobo he became but still as the same natsu who cared about his fashion sense and his weight. Nashi began to see natsu in a blurry image as her tears flooded her eyes and she began crying.*
"DADDY!!!!!"
"ACK!!! Nashi!!! What's wrong!?! Did I scare you!?"
*natsu carried Nashi now as he cooed at her as the worried father she remembered before everything became a nightmare in her dream.*
"Natsu! See? I told you not to scare my little Nashi! Don't sneak up on her again!"
*lucy smacked him playfully as she finished cooking and turned around to show her very pregnant belly.*
"Yes~ your right luce, my bad I didn't mean to scare my baby. Right Nashi?"
*Nashi wiped her tears away as she looked at her fathers face again. She missed her daddy so much it felt like she hadn't seen him in years!*
"Oh! Luce! Get ready! I'm thinking it's a good day to take a walk at the docks today. It would do you good for both you and the baby to walk about and get out of this stuffy house."
*natsu said as he grinned and kept holding Nashi.*
"Sure thing natsu, I'm actually looking forward to buying some things for Liddan or Igneel."
*lucy rubbed her tummy as she talked to natsu.*
"Luce, I told you already his name is Liddan! Not Igneel… I made a promise so I plan to keep it!"
*natsu corrected a coy lucy as she laughed and tapped natsu's shoulder.*
"But are you sure? Didn't you want to name your first son after your father?"
*lucy asked him in a worried tone now.*
"Yes I'm sure! Plus he has to be Liddan, I'm sure of it. Now get ready lucy, as for you Nashi dadddy will change your diaper once more and change your clothes too."
*nashi felt like she was forgetting something and that she was seeing double of something. She didn't care though since she was excited now to see the ocean now for the first time in her life!!*

Nashi never seen the ocean before so it was amazing to her how shiny the water would look under the sun and how great it felt to walk outside.
Natsu enjoyed the walk too as they made stops to the nearby markets but natsu sensed someone following them. He looked behind him as he saw the person would duck and hide behind merchandise. He noted this person as suspicious but his daddy dragon senses screamed to kill this individual. He began getting the hang of controlling his instincts now so he just supressed this urge and kept walking. He was not here to worry about others, he was here to make sure Lucy and their unborn child were safe.
Lucy stopped as she picked some cute little baby boots made for baby boys and told natsu she was taking these for their son Liddan. As she told natsu to grab Nashi's hand now while she went to go pay, but Nashi refused to separate from her mother now as she remembered what occurred in her dream this morning.
"Daddy, I want to stay with mommy!"
*Nashi showed her weird behavior now as she never once wanted to separate from her father.*
"Why Nashi? Mommy is just going to go pay for the things, it will be quick.."
*natsu felt sad now that his precious daughter didn't want to stick around him anymore.*
"No! I want to stay with mommy!"
*Nashi demanded as lucy let out a helpless sigh now as she got Nashi's hand and told natsu to go pay instead while she waited with Nashi.*
"Ok, I'll be back honey.."
*natsu was going but came back to peck lucy on the lips as he whispered something into her ear that Nashi couldn't quite hear.*
Suddenly a man tried talking Nashi but instead of natsu, lucy had pulled her infront of her by her big stomach as she glared at the man.
"How may I help you sir? I don't think you have any reason to talk to my daughter."
*lucy replied merciless*
"Oh I'm sorry it's just I wanted to know if you or your daughter has seen- MRS. DRAGNEEL WATCH OUT!!"
*the man who was actually Jonathan had pulled lucy twords his direction managing to switch positions as another man stabbed him from behind and twisted the knife inside him.*
"Oops- I missed~"
*the evil man made eye contact with Lucy now as he didn't need to say anything to tell her she was next..*
"Nashi, get behind mommy. If mommy gets stabbed you run to daddy ok?"
*lucy spoke to her daughter without breaking eye contact with the cynical man who took his knife out of the dead corpse now.*
"No mommy! I don't want you and daddy to fight and get angry again!!"
*lucy was confused at what Nashi had said but as she turned to see what Nashi was talking about the man took advantage of this and charged at lucy full speed ready to kill her with cold blood.*
Nashi got infront of her mother as she breathed a fire dragon roar at the man but he had ran threw it with only some flames catching fire on his hair and shoulders. Nashi closed her eyes and hugged Lucy's tummy in hopes she could at least save Liddan from getting stabbed but she heard a voice she was to happy to hear!
*POW*
A punch connected with the man's face as it sent him flying into the floor cracking the concrete underneath him as natsu rubbed his arm warming it up for another punch.
"Nashi, lucy! Are both of you ok?!"
*natsu made it on time as he heard the commotion as he payed the lady and ran back here to save lucy and Nashi from the man.*
Nashi looked at natsu as tears welt up in her eyes.
"Daddy… you remembered…"
*natsu now blushed as he wrapped his arm around lucy separating her from the unconscious man to prevent any accidents from happening as he looked at Nashi and bent down.*
"Of course I remembered Nashi! I cried my eyes out that day you had dissapeared the moment I looked away from you.. you have no idea how much I've waited to meet you Nashi…"
Natsu hugged his daughter now as Nashi began crying in tears of joy that her idiot of a father from back then became the best papa she could ask for!
"Natsu, i understand that you told me to keep Nashi next to my stomach but for what reason did you say that? Did you already know I was going to be attacked??!?"
*lucy was furious now as she watched guards take away the unconscious man and confiscated the knife he had used from a distance.*
"Yes lucy, I already knew you were being targeted… it's a long story lucy.. I'll tell you oneday.."
*natsu looked at lucy with some loving eyes. Nashi was glad that her nightmare didn't come true as she hugged her parent's legs and was just happy she could see them happy like this again.*
