Ginny of course refused to be dragged to the dining room by Duke Akris, so she straightened up and walked like a human next to him after much resistance. The Duke seemed to have enjoyed the banter because he was smiling throughout the time as he walked them to the dining room and why exactly was she even being invited to breakfast? If she wasn't wrong, he was so distrustful of her just a night earlier speculating even as far as her being the spy of the crown prince so why was he treating her so well all of a sudden? Something smelled funny and her nose has never been wrong.
Once they reached the dining room, he came to a stop and opened the door as he motioned for her to get in the room with a gentlemanly air about him and Ginny's suspicions thickened even more. Either something really good happened or she was being cooked as a turkey tonight there was no other reason why else she was being treated so well by him all of a sudden.
