Chen then bridal carried Xiao and flew from the window. Xiao was scared and hid her face in Chen's embrace. Chen's heart was beating harder then ever. Somehow Chen's heartbeat relieved Xiao and she felt comforted.
They soon reached the mansion of Yin's. Xiao not knowing Jiu Chen's real identity asks him to go away. She then goes inside the mansion. As soon as she enters her step mother who took her mother's place as a legimate wife screams as she enters the yard. Her two daughters follow her. The general comes out hearing all the noises. Madam Yin (stepmother) yells, where have you been my dear? We've been waiting for you all night. Yin Balian then yells, sister why are your clothes torn. Yin Meng die follows saying, sister are you alright? Don't say that some bandit took away your chastity? The general is quietly hearing all the non-sense.
Suddenly Madam Lee again raises her voice saying, Who will marry my dear daughter?
The general then comes over and is about to slap Yin Moxiao when suddenly Jiu Chen appears and stops him. HIs moves are too fast that the general falls over his head. "What His Highness! What are you doing here? I'm really resentful for my behavior. Please show some mercy. Why didn't you inform me before coming?"
Yin Moxiao is silently watching the drama. Jiu Chen then loudly announces: The penalty of calling a royal, bandit is to be canned by death!
Yin Moxiao yell: Royal?
Jiu Chen smirks at her. The general and his family starts begging for mercy. The general even asks madam Lee to kneel. Jiu Chen then proposes an offer. He tells the general that they will all be canned 100 times if they don't but....
Madam Lee shouts: Your Highness please have mercy!!!
Ji Chen then continues saying if they marry Moxiao off to him they won't get canned otherwise all of them should get ready to be get canned until death.
The general without a second thought agrees to Jiu Chen's proposal. Madam Lee is annoyed because Jiu Chen is the current king's brother. Although his position is not something that looks pretty but he rules the court. His words are the law. Even the emperor fears him.
Jiu Chen smirks at yin moxiao who is still in a daze. The General then loudly announces that Yin Moxiao is to marry the Second brother of His Highness on the 15 of next month. Jiu Chen interrupts saying that next month is too long, I don't know if I'd change my mind by then. The General hurriedly says that Yin Moxiao will marry His highness the day after tomorrow. Yin Moxiao yells that this is not fair. They should atleast ask her for the marriage. The general silences her saying that an insolent brat is getting such a great opportunity. You are just like your mother. He is about to slap her when she holds her hands and hits him.
Jiu Chen then tells her that she can beat him up all she wants no one will stop her. She slaps the general a few more times then leaves.
