Callacas Kingdom's Soldier Temporary Camps, just outside the Forest of Abundance.
The head commander of the Callacas Kingdom's army, Geoffrey is currently clutching his hair while having his head hanging low. It's been over a week since the search and destroy order has been released against the person who killed the prince and the king of Callacas kingdom and a few of his troops were also killed during the apprehension. The search proved to be fruitless as the perpetrator of the crime had yet to be captured.
Since the king has been killed and his apparent successor was also brutally murdered, the seat of the Callacas Kingdom's royalty is empty and once the news about the death of the king will reach the ears of the populace, many people with statuses will vie for the throne and will do anything to take it. Thanks to the Council of the Elders taking over the ruling in the meantime until a new ruler is assigned, the ruling system will remain running.
Geoffrey tried to look at the papers of the previous summoning process that they have done these past years and there are no reports of abnormalities like this happening.
"Perhaps we did summon the hero in the process?"
The Callacas Kingdom is not only the kingdom that can summon people from other dimensions but the other principalities too. The only thing different is that the Callacas Kingdom is responsible for summoning them just to sell them as slaves as the otherworlders are known to be hard workers and proven useful, especially some of the females which are pretty in demand in the market.
The other kingdoms also summons other people from another world but they are more responsible for summoning the heroes that are meant to deal with the Demon Lord that keeps on persisting on invading the human lands. Since the other principalities are more capable of summoning heroes, they are not summoning otherworlders just to be sold but they are using the otherworld's desire for power and fantasy that lacks in their world to drive them to move and do their bidding.
Sure, some heroes have noticed these before and tried to rebel but ended up being killed instead and labeled traitors to humanity. That's how things are happening. However, this is the first time an otherworlder rebels the very moment they were summoned. Geoffrey reviewed how heroes do before their rise in ranks and most of the time, they don't have any powers at first until they awakened or have leveled up so it was strange that someone who just got summoned immediately begins killing. Not only that but it seems like the guy they summoned is proficient enough in the killing.
The casualty might have ended up getting bigger if Geoffrey has not inflicted an injury on the guy. By now, the perpetrator is dying and I made sure that his internal organs are ruptured. There is no way a normal person would still survive after that and Geoffrey is confident that even if they did not find the body, he should be dead by now.

As for the person that Geoffrey is saying to be dead, he is very much alive and well. Not only that but he is in the middle of killing two additional guards who happened to be talking with each other while surveying the forest trails. He tested the [Shadow Strike] on the two unfortunate guards and the moment he did, the two are slaughtered without a shed of mercy. It was like they are mauled by a big bear without a chance to fight back or even run away.
"That's five."
"Sir Hero, may I ask if you are planning to kill all the patrolling soldiers?"
"If I can do it without the risk of dying, I will. After all, I need to pay them back for how they almost killed me in that attack. If not for the dead body of the king to distract them, I wouldn't have survived. There is no way I would let them scoot off just by doing that."
Kogure knew he is against a lot of soldiers but he is also sure of what he is gonna do. No one is going to stop him achieve it all.
"I don't care if they view me as an evil being or something similar. If they disturbed my peace, then I have to show them violence."
Kogure stood up after taking the spoils from the dead soldiers, leaving them behind. He made sure that the soldiers would look horrific in the eyes of the people who will discover them. He needs to instill fear in them and also make sure that he is not someone to be messed with.

...
Two days later, Kogure took a little sip on the water from the small water container he looted from one of the soldiers as he remained up in a tree. In the span of 2 days, he managed to kill around 24 soldiers. This time around, Kogure is no longer going to risk anything of walking around. He has already made too many kills for it to remain undetected by the soldiers. If it remained undetected, then that only means the soldiers are blind enough to not notice they have missing soldiers or they just don't care about their missing troops.
But Kogure bets more on the soldiers already knowing what he has done especially 5 soldiers that look like they are scouts as they wear lighter outfits meant to move fast in the forest. In fact, he already has looted one from them and used it currently. His uniform might be the most comfortable clothes he has at the moment but it's already bloody red from the blood of his victims so he will have to wash it up again to make it clean.
"[Sir Hero, isn't it time for you to make a move on from here and find a new settlement to live in?]" the system asked.
"Not yet. I have one last task for today. I will only move on once I am done doing it. Look over in the distance. There are some makeshift tents over there and some people talking. I can easily think of what is going on in there and who are they."
"[Don't tell me...]"
"Yup, it's killing time."

Callacas Kingdom's Soldier Temporary Camps
Geoffrey is currently pale from being overworked. Not only does he have no chance to rest, but all of the problems are stacking up and he is getting more and more stressed. Not only that, a few of his troops are found dead in the forests. Even the scouts he sent before have not returned only to be found dead hanging on the tree branches with their throats impaled on them. Just hearing the reports from the soldiers he dispatched to look for the missing soldiers is already bad enough.
He massaged his temple for a bit while thinking of an idea on what is really happening. Did the guy that was summoned and escaped still capable of killing despite in his injured state? No, that should be impossible. Geoffrey made sure that his skill [Internal Rupture] would be fatal enough to anyone who experienced it and would die from internal bleeding in just a few days. He is just letting his soldiers search the area as he wanted to find his dead body and show it to the citizens that the criminal who killed the king and the prince has been successfully killed.
But his plan of showing the corpse has been for naught since its already been a week and yet the search just leads to nowhere. He closed his eyes for a bit as he wanted to sleep but before he can fully shut off his consciousness and drift to the dreamland, Geoffrey noticed a presence inside his tent.
As a soldier who fought multiple wars, he has acute senses that can easily detect spies and assassins even if they are hiding, however, when he pulled out his sword and aimed it to the place he has instinctively felt the presence, there was no one in there. He even tried slashing in the empty space to make sure that no one is hiding with stealth.
"Is it just my imagination?" Geoffrey rubs his tired eyes.
He felt that someone is inside the tent but because he saw no one else but him inside, he is not sure whether he was just imagining it or his mind is playing tricks with his eyes due to how tired he already is. Seeing that in reality, there was no one there, he returned to his seat and gets a shut eye on.
It didn't take him long before he started to dream. It seems he is much more tired than he thought for him to fell asleep immediately. But then...
STAB!
He promptly opened his eyes. In front of him is a bloody tip of a spear piercing through his mouth. The tip seems to have pierced through a small beating heart that is still connected to what seems to be part of his organs that did not get ripped from the attack. Is he still dreaming? He is quite sure he is still dreaming but why is he dreaming of being killed? He does not understand. He is the strongest soldier of Callacas and earned the position as the commander in a young age, there is no way he will just die. Yes, this is all just a big dream. He just needed to think of something good until his dream would fade away. Until then, he needs to do keep himself dreaming good dreams.
Before his consciousness drifts away, he noticed a figure appearing in front of him.
"Sweet Dreams Forever, Motherf*cker."
