Synopsis
Father used to tell me tales of a place further than this world. A place where he was called a 'Reginator', a being of unimaginable power. He slew beasts which threatened the common folk and stopped those who wished harm on others. Those stories would make me want to become an indomitable force of justice, the one who will keep the peace, like my father before me. But, alas, not all things last forever. The day my father died, he told me that I could have any wish granted to me if I became someone who could rival the Gods who administered the different worlds. Even now, the stories he would tell me still resonate deeply within my heart. Then, that was when it all started. How I was brought to a place where anyone can become a God... "Have faith..." -------------------------------------------------- The word count will always be above 1000, though they will also always be lower than 2000. I will update every Saturday or Sunday but I might start releasing chapters on other days if I get enough support from all of you! The MC will be someone who I will try to base on myself for the most part so that he can be as realistic as my own existence. This is my second book. Of course, I am still a newbie at writing stories so, any kind of criticism is welcome as it will contribute to my own growth. Lastly, don't forget to put this book in your library if you like this book! I hope you have a fun journey with me as we go through my story! Chapter 1 - Prologue 1: Tales of The Past

I remember that Father would always tell me stories that he said were tales from his own past. I thought that they would be boring for me as my life was the very definition of boring as there is nothing to fun to do here at home.

However, he surprised the younger me.

He would tell me through his stories that he was a hero from another world called a 'Reginator'. A person who could slay monstrous beasts that threatened the regular folk and stopped those who wanted to hurt others.

I was obviously dazzled by his stories, just like most other young boys my age at that time.

My life was always boring for me as there was nothing to do aside from gathering firewood with my older sister and cooking with Mother. His stories would keep entertained as I continued through my bleak life with nothing better to do besides chores.

My fantasies would have everyone in my family living in the world that my father described. I would dream of that place every night when I went to sleep. Eventually, I started yearning for that ideal world of dreams where I could have a happy life with my family forever.

Father was a man who I loved greatly but, I loved Mother just as much. Even though she already had kids, she acted so childish and, well, that was what caused me and my sister to play with her a lot when we were done with our daily work. She was just the kind of adult who was still a child at heart.

She would always pose in a rather dramatic way and would start talking about how the abyss would stare back at you or something. Honestly, I loved those times when Father would play along with her act and they would start saying things that didn't make any sense at all to us and me and me sister would try to decipher what they were saying.

By the way, my sister's name is Nexa. She is 3 years older than me and is undoubtedly the most responsible person in our family. Between my story-telling father, my over-the-top mother, and the fun-seeking me, she was the one who made sure that our nonsense didn't go too far and, in my opinion, basically our boss when we had work to do.

Even though we were all a bit eccentric in some way, I loved everyone so much.

We were all so happy living together. We were all alone in a small house in the middle of a forest and yet, I felt that we were the only ones who were the most united as our bond was something that could cross the deepest seas and scale the tallest mountains. It was something that I treasured in my heart the very most.

I still wanted to have an experience which would thrill me in a way that something never did before but, I didn't want my family to worry about me so, I kept quiet about it. However, I never did think that something that would fulfill some of those conditions happen so soon to me.

------------------------------

A long, long time ago, I was a young man who lived in a peaceful village that wasn't too different from the village located at the base of the mountain. But then, one day, a bunch of bandits came for the village and announced that they would be the ones who ruled our village.

Of course, because we were a small village with 0 people who were capable of fighting, we easily submitted to them early on to avoid bloodshed. I, too, was one of these people who accepted what happened but, I soon learned that maybe, I could also take a stand as well. You see, I was just another young boy who never did think of what would happen to us.

I was too scared to join any hunting parties as I was afraid of getting hurt so, I just became the boy who would take any kind of job the people required. I would work as a baker, a mover, a cleaner, pretty much anything you could think of. But, I liked this life and I never wanted to change it as change would make everything worse, especially in our current situation.

Moving on, I learned that those bandits were, for better or for worse, actually able to get our village to grow over time and were also able to increase the amount luxury resources and commodities we could present to any visitors. So, in a span of only 6 years, those bandits actually helped us grow but, they still made sure to control everyone's actions.

As our population grew, the amount of bandits actually increased as more and more people started finding benefits in joining them as they could basically have partial control over the village that was reaching the status of town already. It was very odd as the bandits who came before became people who were essentially our government.

But then, one day, a strange man came into our village. He was dressed in clothes I never saw before and had a unique-looking sword sheath on his hip. I knew as I saw the bandits use them during their fighting practice. Anyway, the strange man asked around our village for who were in charge.

He disappeared during the afternoon as no one saw him but, the next morning, there was an announcement that the leader of the bandits would be facing the strange man in a public duel. I didn't know why that man would want to fight him but, I came to the public duel as I wanted to check on the man.

The battle was... splendid. It wasn't really a battle but more like a one-sided beating as the man nearly killed the bandit leader. However, for some odd reason, he didn't finish him off and instead turned to leave. But then, some other bandits came to fight him and that was when I heard these words.

"Momentary Blossom."

All of the bandits who surrounded him were cut down in a beautiful flower pattern. It was honestly quite mesmerizing. When he tried to leave, I ran after him to know what his name was and, surprisingly, he actually answered me. He said that his name was Transier but he also told me that Transier was only his last name.

I was in awe of how he was able to do something that no one else could do so easily. That thing was standing up to people with unimaginable power. Well, at least to my perspective. The thing I learned that day was something that changed me ever since. I learned that it is very hard to ever go against the common atmosphere and that change is nearly impossible when everyone thinks that they are fine they are the way now.

Though it is hard, all it takes to make a change is to make your opinion known and fight for what you think is right. It may seem like some weird advice and it might not always work but, that is what I believe in. Anyways, ever since he freed the entire village-turning-town, I have traveled with Transier and we also became best friends.

Along our journey, we did many heroic acts and I even befriended even more people from strange lands who I never would have met if Transier didn't arrive in my home. Though, I always did have another dream that I wanted to fulfill. Seeing Transier do so many good things made me feel like I could also do something as well. And, that desire was what fueled my dream.

That dream was-

"Turner, Elaina, Zen! We need to get to work now!"
