" Our Luna will be a sunshinner werewolf, this will make our pack stronger and more fearful than before... Sunshinners were known to be almost immortal before as silver doesn't burn them or is wolfbane poisonous. And most importantly, they have attributes of a vampire, kitsune, coyote along with a wolf," Epsilon Samuel spoke in a cheerful tone and kept sharing information with Beta Sebastian on Sunshinners werewolves.
" If they were known to be almost immortal then why did they extinct and how do you know about this?" Beta Sebastian questions while he takes a vodka bottle from his Dad.
" Your Mom had many books on supernatural beings and she would read them to me... She always said love is a powerful weapon that would make a man a villain or hero. The Serpent King becomes the villain to win back his love," Epsilon Samuel mattered looking lost in thoughts.
" Sebastian, we had to watch the council's action closer than before. Because if someone shifted into a sunshinner werewolf or anyone saw it then the council is the first to know," Epsilon Samuel spoke as soon as he became attentive.
" You are right, Dad," Beta Sebastian said.
" How did Ace react?" Epsilon Samuel asked.
" He laughed and please, don't go to him to discuss this. He is furious at you for disobeying him and it will take weeks for him to calm down," Beta Sebastian warns Epsilon Samuel who nodded in agreement.
Then a sound of the roar emitted causing the items on the table to shake. Beta Sebastian and Epsilon Samuel ran outside to see, Alpha Ace breathing hard while the Zeta is kneeling down in submission.
" Ace, What happened?" Beta Sebastian asked looking intimidated and covering Epsilon Samuel from Alpha Ace's view.
" Those girls had only suffered minor injuries that they were discharged tonight itself," Alpha Ace's response made Epsilon Samuel and the members who went with him in shock.
" That's impossible," Epsilon Samuel shouted as he stepped forward.
" Those girls were deadly injured that could have killed them within hours," Epsilon Samuel spoke in a low voice and avoided looking at Alpha Ace's fierce glare.
" The council is covering it up," Epsilon Samuel guessed.
" Uncle Samuel, did you bite all of them?" Alpha Ace stood in front of Epsilon Samuel and asked looking into his eyes.
" Yes, all the six of them," Epsilon Samuel answered looking a bit confused making Alpha Ace groan.
" Dad, you might have turned them into werewolves," Beta Sebastian stated as he pinched his nose.
" But I had bitten humans before," Epsilon Samuel objected childishly.
" Before you ate them and this is the first time where your victims survived. You taught Sebastian and me that our royal bloodline can turn humans into werewolves and we should be careful with it. You end up acting recklessly," Alpha Ace spoke in a calm chilling voice making Epsilon Samuel shiver.
" I am sorry, Alpha. Let me handle this matter because I am the cause of it... I won't disappoint you," Epsilon Samuel spoke as he bend his neck to Alpha Ace.
" This is your last chance and if you cause any more harm to humans then you will have no right to take any sort of responsibility. Am I clear?" Epsilon Samuel nodded to Alpha Ace.
" Beta Sebastian, come to my office," Alpha Ace ordered and went inside his office.
" Why did you let Dad handle the responsibility?" Beta Sebastian questioned as soon as he closed the doors.
" So he won't be having any power in decisions I make and other members will stop taking him seriously after Uncle messed up this matter," Alpha Ace spoke as he sat down in his chair and took a file from the drawer.
" Here are some well-known witches and wizards known are breaking curses. You need to look at them and pay as much as they want to break Dad's curse," Alpha Ace spoke looking at Beta Sebastian who looked shocked.
" Why do you need to break Uncle Nick's curse?" Beta Sebastian questions as he flips through the files.
" So you can live your mate happily," Alpha Ace answered making Beta Sebastian remember the horrible night.
" Thanks, Ace," Beta Sebastian spoke with a sincere smile before he went to hug Alpha Ace.
" I will look into it," Beta Sebastian said before leaving the office and going to his Beta Office.
He sat on his chair and continued to read the profiles on the file. All the witches and warlords had committed crimes before they were excluded from their community. Making them live in the underworld and their prices started from a million for a simple spell ritual.
" I could have started a side business on sorcery than a street fighter. That could have saved me from the pain I suffered," Beta Sebastian mumbled to himself as he reads the file.
As Beta Sebastian was reading, he felt an emotion of anger and humiliation from his ring. This cause Sebastian to growl as he takes his phone to call Ava.
" Hey, Sebby," Ava answered with a thick voice.
" Did someone hurt you?" Sebastian asked while he was going to the garage.
" Why are you asking that?" Ava questions instead making Sebastian groan.
" I could feel your emotions so answer me this time. Who hurt you?" Sebastian spoke as he try to look at his Toyota car which he uses for his cover.
" I tried to look for Sophia but found her roommate. She mocked me in front of people who then started to laugh at me," Ava's response made Sebastian grab the nearest sport car keys.
" I am coming and I will pay them for making you cry," Sebastian said before cutting the call.
The arrival of a sports car in front of the pack house gathered a lot of attention from the youngster they started to record a video. Everyone was shocked to see Sebastian come out of the car. The youngster was whispering as Sebastian gave no attention and went inside the pack house following Ava's scent.
Sebastian walked into the Beta Kitchen and saw plenty of chocolate wrappers on the floor while Ava is eating ice cream.
" Looks like, you ran off chocolate," Sebastian's voice startled Ava making her shallow ice cream quickly.
" I eat a lot when I am upset," Ava said as Sebastian wrapped his arms around her pulling her close and then wiping the ice cream from Ava's lip.
" Tell me the names," Sebastian ordered affectionately.
" Sophia's roommate's name is Lilly and her friends were Sam, Carly and Lucifer," Ava answered.
" Who keeps their child's name Lucifer?" Sebastian commented making Ava smile.
" Apparently, his parents listen to a witch who said naming Lucifer would bring success to their child," Ava muttered smiling seeing Sebastian's reaction.
" Well, they are stupid to believe that and that proves why that boy was mocking you. He is arrogant and egoistic as he is named after the devil," Sebastian spoke making Ava giggle.
" Ava," Anna called out before coming into the kitchen.
" Oh, hey," Anna spoke in surprise to see Sebastian.
" Hi, Anna," Sebastian responded.
" Are you here for the fight?" Anna asked excitedly
" No, I came here because someone hurt Ava," Sebastian spoke making Anna widen her eye.
" Who hurt you, Ava? " Anna asked in concern.
" Didn't you check insta?" Ava muttered making Anna and Sebastian check their phones.
Anna saw almost everyone in her following list had reposted or shared the same video. In the video, Ava is surrounded by Sam, Carly and Lilly. They were pointing out Ava for dating Aston and being upset when Sophia dated Liam. Then started to mock her impurity and predicts Sebastian will leave her soon. While Ava poorly tried to defend herself soon the teasing shifted from Ava to her family. This caused Ava to slap Carly and then the trio started to beat Ava up.
" They beat you up... I am telling Dad," Anna shouted in anger.
" Wait, I have a better idea... Where is your Dad?" Sebastian spoke in a low thick voice that scared Anna and Ava.
" He is in Alpha Office," Anna answered.
Sebastian went leaving Ava and Anna in the kitchen.
" I never thought the cheerful Coach can be scary," Anna muttered while Ava nodded as they looked at each other.
" Why were you looking for me?" Ava asked.
" Liam message to find you asap. I guess he saw the video. How could you let them beat you?" Anna asked worriedly.
" I felt I deserved it," Ava whispered making Anna frown.
" That's stupid," Anna commented.
" Why did you think you deserved it?" Liam asked as he and Sophia entered the kitchen.
" Ava, I want to apologise on behalf of Lilly. She and her friends were high... They will apologise to you as soon as they become sober," Sophia said making Liam growl.
" That doesn't justify their action, Sophia," Liam muttered and looked at Ava.
" Mom and Dad make sure they pay for what they did to you," Liam spoke in a gentle tone.
" It doesn't matter to me anymore," Ava shrugged her shoulder.
" I want everyone pack members in the main hall now," Beta Ben's voice came out from the speaker.
Anna and Liam smirk as they knew the reason behind the while Sophia is worried for her roommate and Ava is already embarrassed from a previous incident that she doesn't want the matter to escalate more than it had.
Without saying a word, the four of them leave the kitchen and met Aston and Oliver on their way. Aston hugged Ava and gave a few words of comfort.
After reaching the main hall, Carly, Lilly, Lucifer and Sam were kneeling on the floor facing Alpha, Luna, Beta couple and Gamma couple. While Sebastian stood in a corner and went to stand next to Ava as she entered.
" What's going on?" Ava whispered to Sebastian who smirk and muttered.
" They are getting punished for hurting you,"
" I want everyone to know these children have committed a crime. They bullied Beta's daughter Ava and beat her up while recording the whole scene. Then they uploaded it on social media to gain a few likes... This isn't the first time where members are punished for humiliating high-ranked members of the pack as I thought it was appropriate to punish privately. But I was wrong... These types of crimes committed should have been dealt with in front of the public view so these should be examples of not committing such crimes," Alpha Chris announced making people have a mixed reaction. Such few supported this method while others didn't.
" But Alpha, they are under eighteen years old. They are just children," One of the pack members objected.
" Yet, They committed heinous crimes so they will be treated as an adult," Luna Carol spoke in a soft tone showing disappointment towards the four kneeling children.
" They will be receiving ten lashes each and will be working in pack cells for consuming drugs. And for physical assault, they will be banned from training and will only be used as dummies in the training session. Lastly, for wrongfully using social media, they will be staying in a detention centre for one month," Alpha Chris announced shocking everyone while Sebastian tries to hide his smile as he was able to make Alpha Chris a pawn.
" What?" One of the pack members shouted.
" If someone objects to my decision, they will be held on a trial," Alpha Chris growls.
" Alpha, they are underage so you should counsel their parents before announcing such harsh punishment," Aubrey spoke in a calm authorised tone.
" Alpha Chris already did counsel with their parents and they are undergoing their punishment for not properly raising their children," Luna Carol muttered as she gave a tight smile to Aubrey who crooked one of her eyebrows.
" Delta, give ten lashes to each of them with the silver whip. And if someone objected then they will be receiving lashes on the behalf of these children," Beta Ben spoke and grinned as no one came.
Then a guard came with four silver whips and immediately started to hit the children kneeling on the floor. The hall was filled with the cries of the four teenagers making Ava shut her eyes and hide her face using Sebastian's body.
" This is cruelty," Ava whispered in a choking voice.
" This has always happened for centuries and most of the packs still use these methods. I think Howler Pack was one of those who work in the dark to keep the positive reputation for pack members' well-being," Ava looked at Sebastian as if he revealed a secret.
" But we live in the twenty-first century...," Sebastian interrupts Ava saying,
" That could be used for humans but we werewolves are emotional so we do everything in extreme,"
Sebastian then looked at Aston who was shocked and had a disgusted look on his face which mirrored Oliver's and Liam's expressions.
" They have done even worst to other pack members," Sophia whispered choking on her cries as she couldn't bare to hear her roommate's cry.
" What do you mean?" Liam asked.
" If you socialise more than you will know," Sophia snapped at Liam's naiveness.
Aston and Oliver were able to hear Sophia. And looked at each other in turmoil expression as they are overwhelmed with everything that has been happening for the past few days.
" We have to defeat them then only our questions can be answered," Aston declared.
