Blair stared at the huge mansion in astonished silence.
It was big, it was grand, and it looked lavish. Blair gulped before giving Cadmus a quick glance. The house was three or four stories high, painted in pristine white.
There was a large garden at the front, trees scattered all around, creating masses of shade. The breeze was cool, and the sky was cloudy, making it a perfect day to pay a visit.
"Cadmus," Blair started after she got off the car. Cadmus kept quiet as they walked to the entrance gate. "Your parents' home is really pretty. I've been to Hershey's house several times before. But this one's impressive in a different way."
"Yeah, I guess," Cadmus said, sounding a bit discouraged as he placed his hands in his pockets. "Been a while since I was last here."
He didn't look too happy to be there, though that was understandable. He's probably just feeling a bit anxious, considering his relationship with his mother.
