Mike was lonely, miserable and brainwashed for he had been a member of a cult "church" which was recently busted by the local police .Mike had joined fo the sake of sense of belonging. He had lost his dad in the Waterside Park shooting two years ago , he felt abandoned for he had no one to help him get through the pain and anger he had piling up inside him.He felt the need to take out his anger and frustration but nothing came to his mind as he was no fan for sports.

Mike's failure to find a place he can call home made the neighbors worry that he will turn out to be a holigan because he had no one to guide and reprimand him ,for he was just a seventeen year old lad anything can go wrong .Mr Sturgis, Mike's neighbor decided to take matters into the Children Care Office to find help for the lost soul,Mike. On the other hand Mike felt the need to embark on this journey alone because he wanted to be left alone so he can find himself again as if it was possible. He Wondered why he wasn't like other kids his age for they had both their parents and good relationships too, had girlfriends, participated in different sports and would go out often, he could not help but compare to his life and be completely be overshadowed with rage , hatred and fear of what would his life turn out to be, he's always cooped up in his room, hardly went out and never thought of having a girlfriend as he finds it tidius and ridiculous and worse he never thought of participated in sports.

While fixated on that thought he heard a knock from the door, tried to ignore it but the visitor was persistent. He dragged himself up the couch and headed to the door and suddenly felt his heart throbbing so hard and from that moment he felt that something very wrong was heading his way, as he opens the door to a crack he saw a barge hanging from the Sheriff's shirt, Mr Simpson together with his neighbor Mr Sturgis and a new face who introduced herself as Mrs Cooper from the Children Care Office . He dared to invite them inside for he did not want any company at the moment so he gave them a smirking face. He wasn't pleased to see the Sheriff for he reminded him of his late father and brought back feelings of disappointments to solve his father's murder and bring the murderer to justice.

The visitors were short and brief and got down to business and left themselves in, that triggered his anger even more. He had developed anger issues and worth noting the house was a mess , the lady odered him to pack his clothes and all his accessories and stuff he's going to need as he wondered what was going on, the first thought that lingered in his mind was that it was either an eviction or they were taking him away. He was reluctant at first but seeing the sheriff's cold face he was quick to respond and stuffed up a few clothes up his backpack and headed back. He was ushered to the sheriff's car and sitted in the backseat and the lady Mrs Cooper was kind to explain what was going on for the lad was confused. Hearing that he was being taken away from the only place he called home , the only place he knew made him unsettled, he became infuriated and for this he needed someone to blame for this, he had a strong feeling that Mr Sturgis had something to do with this as he recall being questioned about his way of living by the old man . As the vehicle drove away he gave the old man a cold and gruesome look and he knew that he was spot on , it was the old man , has to be the old man. He considered the old man's action as an attack and vowed on his dead father that he will revenge himself.

Mike never liked the Children Care Center for obvious reasons;he never liked the food , always complained about privacy he missed home but he knew he had to suck it up, he was involved in fights from time to time and be punished severely from all this he learnt something one thing in life and he stood by it and that was to only trust himself and try to put up a good behavior for he was now twenty years old and every night counted down that only two dreadful years were left so he could get out of that place he considered to be a prison and importantly take his revenge . During the night he would alway forethink his revenge on the person who put him through hell , he wanted the old man endure a painful but slow death together with his family. Cold , he had a portrait of the old man stuck up in the wall so that Everytime he looked up at it his feelings of rage and anger and bitter hatred would arouse. Everytime he gazed at the photo his eyes would see red like he is bleeding through his eyes all he sees is blood.

Years went by ,Mike was a young man he had fooled his way out the Center with good behavior and profound responsibility. He had a full plan cooked up and was ready to execute his long awaited revenge to the Sturgis family. On his first day he was released from the Center he thought he would be happy but to his surprise he became boiled up with anger and flashbacks of all the suffering he had indured in his life he finally had someone to take the blame for the hardships in his life and tht is the poor old man, Mr Sturgis. He went out to the street and bought him a gun because the pain be feeling numb, he wanted to wipe out the whole family to avenge his childhood being taken away from him . Later on the day he went to the bar to drown his sorrows and cried away his pain he realized he never had a childhood moment as he always seeked his father's attention all his childhood. He got wasted and headed to his father's house upon arrival he was overwhelmed with sadness and anger for it brought back memories of suffering from day he mom left him as a young boy. He didn't want to be seen that he was back so that he can execute his assassin easy without prying eyes and suspicions. He waited until it was pitch black so he can get over the neighbor's yard without being noticed.

Hours went by ,and he could literally smell the oozing fresh and hot blood and his face just went out cold.He sneaked into the Mr Sturgis backyard to break in through the back door he noticed that they were all asleep . On his way to the door he stepped on a twig that had fallen off the tree and suddenly heard the loud barking of two pitbulls coming racing towards his direction, he was quick to draw out his gun and shot them at the spot. The Sturgis family and the entire neighborhood woke up from the loud bang of the gun but Mike knew that the plan was doomed but went on with it for there was no going back now, the die had been caught, the moving finger had read. He quickly headed inside and held everyone at gun point , they were all there but Mr Sturgis was not . He drew the gun to Mrs Sturgis head and asked for the old man's whereabouts and to his surprise he was directed to his bedroom lying sick for his advance age as year had gone by.

Within a few minutes they could hear sirens ,and the Homeland security department was there following the few shots that arlamed everyone hoovering the homestead.Mike was becoming more and more restless he wanted to kill everyone from grandchildren to grandparents he wanted to wipe out his whole generation but before he can do anything he wanted answers from the old man as to why he had to make his life unbearable , why he had to stick his nose where it did not belong as those actions of his left scares bared in him,but the old man was too fragile and too weak to speak for himself he could not even utter out a single word out of his mouth but one could see that he was begging for mercy from the young man. He wished he could say he was sorry and that he was only trying to help but little did he know that poking the hornets nest he never meant no harm. But I guess it was just a little bit too late as Mike was ready to pull the trigger. He tied up the whole family down together with the old man helplessly lying down. He attempted to burn the house down with them inside, the police tried to negotiate with him to let the hostages go and they will give him a less prison sentence but wasn't keen on listening to them . He locked all the doors and began to pour out petrol all over the place , the Sturgis family were all crying for help , children crying and parents wailing their nightmare became a reality for the sake of lending a helping hand and trying to take the right decisions for others.

Mike could not back down from this he sure was certain about what he was doing, he had been waiting for so long for this. The thought of having to do this was to feel and release the feelings of anger towards those who have wronged him , little did he know that his source of his anger and bitter hatred is because of the absence of his mother's love in his life and that all he had was never enough and what Mr Sturgis did only made it worse now that he has someone to blame and place his anger on. He burnt the house down and handed himself over to the police. The fire department was able to save the Sturgis family although they suffering serious burning wounds but Mr Sturgis did not make it . Mike was sentenced to life imprisonment
