The next thing she noticed, were two collected grunts of those men in the wall being slammed hard. In darkness, she only felt fast movements in there while she stayed lying in the floor, shaking so hard. She had no idea what was happening now while there was as if a duel happening in the dark with those men grunting in and screaming pain before it went dead silent .
Luna could only hear her breathing in the darkness while her lampshade flickering before it gave a dim light to her room. What greeted her were those two men sprawled in the floor being towered over by a man with hostile aura. Her breathing hiked up when the man turned his head to her before he slowly walked towards her .
It was as if time freezes right before her while her eyes zeroed to him in concentration. Maybe he was another villain. By mere thought, Luna bolted into a seat. She needed to escape and call the police. She looked around for her cat but it was gone. Maybe it escaped after it was hurt. She didn't even notice herself shivering so much in the aftermath of the attack awhile ago.
Then her attention went back to her front when the mystery guy crouched down before her. He did so in such a manner not human. As if he was too graceful but manly at the same time. Luna can't really point out but her eyes fell intently to his eyes and face. So handsome and foreboding existence. He wore an unearthly clothings as if he didn't meant to be standing on the mere ordinary place such as her room.
"You should call for the police, Luna." he spoke in slow manner that Luna even thought he sounded like a royal prince trying to charm a maiden. And at that time, she should be. However, she can only think of one thing.
"Where's my cat?" she asked stupidly but the man only smirked at her before his eyes glowed green and it was as if she was bewitched, the handsome man turned to an orange cat before her very eyes that made her mouth gaped open while her eyes widened in literal shock.
Then the cat meowed which made her lost her shit right there that she screamed so loudly that it can revive the deads.
Luna literally kicked away from the cat until her back met the edge of the bed and screaming hysterically.
"GET AWAY!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!" Luna screamed when the cat slowly strode towards her. "AHHHHH!!!--"her screaming frenzy forestalled when she cracked her throat that made her cough countless times while the cat only looked at her in boredom then meowed once again.
The cat's attention went to its behind when those two men stirred awake .
Luna saw the cat's instant transformation into that handsome man again as he readily tackled those men fast that they grunted in pain once again. The man looked to her in deadpan expression .
"Call the human police unless you want me to murder these two which I will gladly do so."
It was instant, as if his cold voice made her stood to her feet, find her phone and hit the dial button .
"911. What's your emergency." came a professional tone register of the operator from the other line which immediately made Luna fired information in succession as if she was afraid that there will be two dead man on her house if she didn't call the authority right away. She didn't even notice that she practically ran down the stairs while her mind was still in total frenzy and chaos.
Collapsing into a sit to the floor after the call, Luna felt her limbs weakening with what had happened in just short span of time for tonight.
Her attention then went to the person who climbed down the stairs . The way he carried himself seems like a prince who came out straight from Disney fairytales. How can a mere cat be this handsome?
"Did you kill them?" she can't help but voice out quite in shaky voice.
The man stopped just in front of her and crouched down again. She even flinched a little when he reached out to touch her cheek .
"Allow me." he just said while Luna bit her lower lip in fright.
"P-please don't hurt me."
The man only let his thump brushed lightly to her cheek before she felt the comforting chill to where she felt hurt from being hit moments ago. Then the ache on her body disappeared as well as her fright. A matter of fact, she felt her nerves so relaxed and free from tension that she can't help but closed her eyes briefly as if she was being renewed. When she opened her eyes, he already retracted his hand to his own now.
"Who are you?"
The man in front of her only blinked once and the way he stared at her seemed like he saw her soul.
"Nimflido Isirus Mediaroc Rixcim Odiax Dhrobmiyaha."
It was Luna's turn to blink countless times . "Are those your name?"
"Yes."
"That's quite mouthful." She commented, surprised she wasn't anymore scared of him for unknown reason.
"Or you can call me the human name you gave me."
"Human name..." Luna slowly digested. "...are you an alien?"
"I might be called that since I came to visit this strange blue planet." He said while looking up as if he heard something. "Here are the things you shall tell the human police. I am your childhood friend who came on time to save you from those bad guys."
"I have no childhood friend."
"You have now." he said. "You can't tell them I was your cat unless you enjoy in staying at mental facility. Trust me, human facilities are so beyond primitive and uncomfortable."
After a while, Luna heard a police patrol car pulled over in front of the house.
"Am I understood, Luna?" he asked which only made her nodded .
The police readily barged in inside the house in which they pointed a gun to the man crouching before Luna. They only know she lives alone now and the emergency had dispatched them with information about the men who attempted to rape a woman.
"Freeze!" one police officer shouted.
"It's okay officer...he's my childhood friend. He rescued me." Luna answered to the police. "They are upstairs. Please remove them sir. I'm scared of them."
