"They are coming here," Kora said now standing right in front of Lazarus and looking up at him. "Those bad people, they will come here," she said again.
Lazarus stood up and knelt in front of her so they could be at the same height. " are you sure?" he asked.
"Yes," Kora said, firmly. "At night, just like before."
"We won't be going to the ceremony," Lazarus announced, still looking intently at Kora to see if there was any form of lies in her eyes. Kora gladly looked at him the same way not minding the fact that he was an alpha she was his subject. She had never felt intimidated by a superior before. Even Lazarus doesn't scare her even when he releases his aura on her.
