Chereads / Murderer In Moonlight / Chapter 32 - Master & Servant

Chapter 32 - Master & Servant

He sat back in his seat and drove the car for the next 1 and half hours without words. Though she was confused about his sudden act, she decided to stay silent.

Her heart kept telling her that he had forgiven her, but his expression told something else.

"How long are you going to steal glances at me?" He asked breaking the silence. "We are almost there so wait another few minutes." Aiden took a turn into a rural road that was dressed with flowers on both sides.

She stared at the flowers that had started to bloom as the winter was coming to an end. The fresh flowers that had bloomed refreshed her heart and mind.

Though Aiden didn't turn his head to look at them, he could see the flowers that were coming toward his eyes. Even though he knew no words to describe its beauty all he could think with his frozen heart was that they were beautiful.

Both of them finally arrived at their destination, it had no name on it but she could clearly see that it was a field full of flowers.

Aiden picked up his phone and called someone. "Open the gates for me," he put an end to the call and waited for someone to come and open the huge iron gates that were blocking both of them from entering.

In his mind, he had a plan. "I shall tell her everything today itself. I can't continue to look at her if she is going to do the killing for me anymore." But he knew that his words were going to contrast with his actions before they both got together.

He who previously asked Adrienne to assassinate someone for him is now asking her not to do that kind of thing for him.

"Maybe I shouldn't tell her something like that, Instead I should find a way to reconcile with her. It's not like she did it because she wanted to."

"She did it for me." He thought in his mind as they both continued to wait for the gates to open.

"Pick up the cake from the back." He finally said breaking the silence.

"Yes, Master," she opened the door of the car.

But hearing the word Master was more than enough to piss him off again. "Why is she calling me that when I clearly told her that there is no need to address me like that."

Aiden got off the car and walked to Adrienne who was picking up the cake from the back seat.

"Put that cake down and turn around." He spoke with his commanding voice making Adrienne turn without wasting another single second.

He pushed the door shut and pinned her onto the car and kept looking at her.

"Do you think that I am trying to fool you by being in a relationship?" Aiden asked looking straight into her eyes.

"No Master I never thought something like that." She told wanting to escape his eyes full of anger.

"Then why the hell do you still keep calling me Master? There is no master-servant relationship between two people who are in a relationship. I might be a little authoritative but I am not that kind of a dimvit to make you call me Master when we are in a relationship."

"But master you see… we started off being Master and servant and I still need time to adapt to this relationship."

"Then last night… Weren't you serious about it? Were we Master and servant on the bed too? When I made love to you were you my Servant or were you, my girl?"

"Just freaking answer me!?"

She was a little scared. She could clearly see how serious he was but her mind tell her not to be in a serious relationship with him. As there was something she had to get done before she is killed by someone and she of all people knew that being in a relationship with him will only bring her a miserable death.

She finally decided to answer him. She was indeed serious but yet she couldn't make up her mind to calm him down she decided his question the way he is expecting.

"I was indeed serious. I too am a girl with dignity, I might have been an assassin but I never prostituted myself and you had my first time. Do you think that I will have sacrificed my first time to someone whom I don't feel anything towards?"

He pressed his lips against her in the happiness of hearing those set of words. The exact words that he wanted her to tell him and the word that came out of her mouth for real.

He had no regrets about being in a relationship with him.

In his mind, she was someone who can have him under control and he knew that she for sure have an impact on his psychopathic mentality.

He broke the kiss. "You might have gotten blood on your hands in the past but let that past be the past it's not like I will dig it out. In the future, if you want to vent your anger on someone just let me know. I can do anything for you as long as you are mine."

"I might be called a psychopath by others but to you, I promise you that I will not be a psychopath."

She just kept looking into his eyes in surprise. Surprisingly his words felt so touching that a tear escaped her eye.

"Why are you crying?" He asked concerned about her sudden change.

"Just Nothing." She replied. "So Far I had no one to take care of me nor there was anyone to ask whether I am dead or alive. After my one and only family member died I was indeed left alone, I did have friends and most of them died in my arms."

"I am scared that the same fate will come to others for that I develop some affection. I am known to be miserable since the day I was born and that is the sole reason why I ended up going crazy over killing people."

"Just like you, I too was crazy for a brief moment of time."

"When I finally decided to escape my reality, I was too late. Everyone I loved had died, my family and my friends weren't there anymore. I was left alone again."

"It was your father who gave me a chance, a girl who was trying to kill herself not being able to withstand the agony of living."

"Even right now I am scared of betraying the person who saved my life. He might be using me to keep you under control but yet I know that this might not end well for both of us."

"I do want to start a relationship with you but I am scared about it more than you think I am."

"I don't want you to agonize if something happens to me."

She let out the words finally as she couldn't hold those words in and those words were only a little bit of her pain. There was more to it that she couldn't tell him.

She stopped talking as she saw him trying to talk.
