Chapter 17- Summoning.
The realm of Torus- lore.
The scroll could be read by anyone with the intellectual and emotional intelligence it took to gain an instinctive comprehension of the meanings (of ancient symbols) and translate that into their tongue. In other words, they needed to have the capacity for the subconscious and dreaming brain to talk directly to the conscious part of their brain, thus transmitting the ideas concretely to themselves and to others. Thus they are able to both read the language of the Gods and apply it in a practical manner. One who needs teaching how to read the symbols and signs can never become a true master, yet may take comfort from knowing that true masters come every few thousand years or less.
We, good magicians, work with and for the positive universal force, we are helped by love and made well by love. The dark arts magicians are helped by the negative force and they are poisoned by love, feeding off the pain.
The realm of Torus was the first realm to be opened even before Ra had started. Adventures who thought it could be a new world too full to explore, a land full of riches. After a time of around 2 years, the inter-dimensional portal was closed, until the breakdown of the inter-dimensional barrier was broken.
Some of the adventures tried to escape and tried to go to the original place that they called home, many failed but some adventures succeeded in making new routes, the 1st IR portal was made by them in this very realm, but due to a fact of inter-realm war this knowledge was kept a secret. To activate the portal a pivot stone was needed to release mana in it, giving a key to the god of destruction and all creation on their return, but after time went by each and every adventurer who went back to their realm was disgusted by the lack of adventures in it and thus, decided to live their lives peacefully in the newly founded realm called 'torus' or 'earth'. The made their descendants great mages, greater than any magic academy could forge. But sooner or later the knowledge of magic gave rise to an evil sect who tried to conquer the realm of Torus. apparently, this realm was supported by gods sentient beings who ascended beings who were able to partially change reality, with their help opposition for the sects was formed, but this led to a devasting war which destroyed and corrupted the world inside out, and the sect didn't lose but grifted and accepted their mistake they gave their lives and ascended to an unknown world. Barren wastelands and the fruitless product was the only thing left in the world, but in the end, the gods showed mercy on the people of Torus, flooding their lands to a point and saving some of them, some of the magic was passed out to the later generations who stayed sculpted and kept fighting the original beings. Generation of mages and the mage families were formed which though their child's the concept of magic. But slowly magic was forgotten and replaced with science. Mages who practised magic were persecuted, lastly, when the warders thought that magic was dead they left the mages alone ignoring their presence dubbing them as acts of science incomprehensible to the human brain.
Each mage family, clan and generations share this story-
"The world which are ancestors knew had gone, destroyed by greed and hatred, with the grace of the forgotten gods, our people found knew shores, but it seems that these lands have been inherited from some another being. Our ancestors left behind their great cities and their powerful magics, why they left it we have yet to understand but, in their abscesses, the lords, and the so-called new guilds and sects are squabbling for the vie of power, I and few others attempt to comprehend their ancient magic hoping it will give us some knowledge of our ancestors past as well as our and a new way to defend ourselves from these so-called entities, But in the end, we know Torus is not our home."
*
Two mages from the realm of Torus stayed next to each other, they wore the same magic robe with their head being overlooked by a piece of cloth.
"Hey, I heard that the Amiyo-Josei was killed."
"Nah, there is no chance that the Amiyo-Josei was able to be killed. I heard that a white beam came in a projection towards the Josei after which there was no further report"
"Whatever, it is now a relief to think that the Josei was killed, most of the mages we have in the Rick could be called off, and so there would not need to use our pour precious mana to maintain the seal."
"But if the Amiyo- Josei was killed actually by just one projection then we may be dealing with something more than a demi-god. "
"What do you mean by it, the age of gods was over three centuries over so there is no way a demi-god or even a god to be involved in the matters of this world."
"According to my knowledge 200 years ago a demi-god was released into open grounds by un-doing its seal. If there was a sealed demi-god 200 years ago then there is a high chance that there may be more existing sealed demi-gods or gods in this world to date, some being in perfect conditions being cared for by mages or some being in a broken-down state which barely holds the entity within it "
"But still it doesn't explain why a demi-god would kill the Amiyo-Josei which is actually one-fourth demi-god."
"Whatever there is no more need for further discussion, I could organise the mage force if necessary."
"Sir, you might be too relaxed, do you think that the mage force would be capable of stopping a god-like entity? You are just trying to escape reality."
"The Mage force might be one of the weakest of the organisation, but now with the 'Kamasura' we may just be able to contain this raging storm"
"Kamasura??"
"I don't think that I had told you about the mysterious katana we found, 4 years ago. For 44 months the sword was isolated from mages, but due to unfortunate events one of our practising mages was forced to use this sword. On further investigation, we came to know that this sword was able to cut through anything and even absorb mana."
