A young girl was sitting on the bed, with her back toward the door. A IV was near her, the wires ran up, hiding under her hospital uniform.

In the ward a window was left ofen. The wind softly blew in, making the long milky hair flutter. She rested her chin on her knees while gazing at the scenery outside. Her pale eyes followed the butterflies that were freely flying.

Outside noises were growing louder. She sighed, her quietness was over. But she ressured herself with the fact that those visits were happening only twice a year.

Soon there were knocks at her door. " Miss Zhao, your family has come to pay a visit ", a nurse walked in, followed by them. She moved her gaze from the window to them. A middle aged couple with two young lads. " Little Xue ! Mom has brought presents ! How are you feeling now ? ", the woman had a smile on her face. ' It gives goosebumps, she's such a bad actor ', thought Xue li.

Her so-called mother didn't even wait for her answer , she spoke at the nurse with an annoyed tone, " Where's my daughter reports? Bring them here immediately ! ". " Yes, Madam Zhao ". The nurse held a displeased glint in her eyes, but she still left.

The other girl that was standing behind snorted, " Finally the eyesore left. Now, you ugly monster don't get happy too soon ", Fei Li glared at her with disgust. " Fei'er, we're still at the hospital, behave ", Jiang Yi nudged at her, furrowing his brow.

Xue Li lazily looked one by one at those family members. Today was surely a special day. They never visited her as a whole. So there was probably something that they wanted from her. Tsk, it would be better if she wasn't tied with them by blood.

But she still had to play along with the 'perfect family'. So she curled a lock of her pearly hair, while putting on an innocent expression. " Mother, Father, why are you both here today ? It isn't my birthday again, right ? ". Fei laughed, " You wish ! Tch ".

Madam Zhao saw those white eyes but she avoided them as soon as she made contact. " Xue Li, from today you'll return with us. Also we'll put all our efforts to get your health back to normal, ok ? Let's go back home ". As she said those words, the other members' gaze, all fixed on her.

Xue Li gripped tightly her fists, nails digging in her skin. A bloody streak was dripping down, but the wide sleeve hid it.

" Are you happy ? It's good news for us that you come back ! ". The woman still kept blabbering with her coquettish voice and that disgust behind her eyes.

Xue Li tried to control herself, but still the rims of her eyes reddened.

How could they… how…. When she was born, she was put aside because of appearance. She had snowy hair, eyes. So she was labeled as a monster, while her twin was raised as princess. To keep her out of their eyesight they dropped her in the hospital after she turned 3. The reason was her sickly health, so they said that this was the environment that suited her the best.

And this wasn't the only worst thing. All the other people that she had blood ties, looked at her with disgust, as if she was a real monster.

Now, after 15 years, she realized what hurts the most was the gaze from dear people, not from strangers.

And now they appeared here, and out of nowhere they wanted her back. Was she an object ? Was she still their biological daughter ?

A whirlwind of questions flooded in her mind, an ache was crawling in her chest, it was furios, it was chewing down, not giving rest.

" Ugh.. ", her hands tightly clutched on the chest, she tried to breathe but the air seemed to vanish.

Her vision turned hazy, soon everything went black.

" Oh, she passed out ? ", glanced at Fei Li. " Let's call the doctor, better avoid any complications. She'll be useful only alive, not dead ", interrupted her Mr. Zhao. His wife pressed the emergency button, not daring to disobey.

" Mrs ? Ah, the patient ! ", as soon as the personnel saw the situation he immediately run out to look for a doctor.

" Well, this way it will be easier to move her, no ? ", asked Mrs. Zhao, with a smile.

" Mr. and Mrs. Zhao, please pay attention to her health. It's very unstable, she can get easily sick, I recommend you to do a weekly check-up ". The doctor touched his glasses, he already saw through those rich generations' families. He prayed for that child that he took care of for so many years. He couldn't do anything for her, except stabilizing her conditions.

" We will, but I think for little Xue it's more suitable to recover at home. So we'll carry on her treatment from there ". The Zhao family bid farewell and left.

Xue Li was put in a car alone. Right now she was wrapped in a quilt, still unconscious. The doctor affirmed that this a minor issue that a proper rest could fix, so her parents immediately arranged for her discharge.

The driver stole a glimpse at the rear-view mirror. He felt a bit of pity towards the second miss, just because of the genetic, she was treated so harshly by her own family.

Soon two cars reached a villa, two rows of servants were waiting. Mr. Zhao stepped out and waved his hand, " take the second miss to her room ". The servant that was called out, strode forward, feeling a bit curious. The second miss was a mysterious figure here, everyone knew that she lived in hospital because of health issues. Now it will be the first time to see her appearance.

A fairy-like figure was carried out by the driver. Long snowy hair was fluttering in the hair, a delicate pale face was covered by the blanket. The rosy lips were extremely catchy on that fair skin. She literally looked like a glass doll.
