The next morning, Amayah woke up earlier than usual and decided to help Nolan get ready before leaving for work.
As she got off the couch, she glanced at the bed and saw that Nolan was still sleeping peacefully. Not wanting to wake him up earlier than his usual time, she took her outfit off and walked into the bathroom to get ready first.
Some time later, the door of the bathroom opened, and out came Amayah, all dressed and ready for the day. She glanced at the clock on the wall and saw that it was usually the time when Nolan woke up. So she looked at the bed.
On the bed, Nolan was sitting there with his back leaning on the headboard. He was looking straight in the direction in which Amayah was standing.
