Coincidentally Cassandra happened to say what Anita was thinking too but she wasn't about to start quarreling with Connor because of that right now.
"Stop it case, and stop trying to cause problems between me and Anita, we are together now and we both love each other and for the record I was never in love with you "
"Just because you are nobody and don't have a future doesn't mean you should ruin everybody else's "he continued .
"Are we…Do we…Eeh…are we an item now?"Anita asked referring to Connor.
"Yes we are,aren't we?"
She averted her eyes and kept mute.
"Hehehehe, oh my God,I can't believe this"Cassandra said amused at their display.
"I thought we were something now Annie" asked Connor. But she didn't reply, he thought that it was because Cassandra was around and she didn't want to hurt her feelings.
"Could you please leave us now before you cause more problems for us"
"You know…"Cassandra started but then paused took a deep breath and said instead "Argh… I wonder why I'm here wasting precious time talking to fools" she said and then made to leave the club.
"She's so fat and shapeless no wonder her boyfriend is cheating on her"someone commented.
"Yes and she seems to know the lady too,too bad her face is covered"
"He made the right choice who would want to date a pig"another said loud enough which made the people burst into laughter.
"I think she should have done more than just pour the wine on him"
"She should have pulled out some of his teeth"
"She's so brave when I caught my boyfriend cheating all I did was to cry and curse him in my room" some people said in support of her.
"Yeah, but she's so fat and undesirable no one would want to keep her….."
Cassandra drowned the voices of all the people around and left the place with her head held high.

It was only after she left and got home to her room and slumped down on her soft bed that the first drop of tear fell and another until she slowly started crying. She began to remember the harsh words which were directed at her and began to cry harder.
"I swear one day I'll become so big that no one would be able to say such things to me ever again"she swore.
"Big sis, how was…."
"Hey what's wrong ,why are you crying"that was Benjamin her younger brother .He was 19 and 2 years younger than she was but was much taller than she was. He was handsome and well built with beautiful brown eyes and was easily the picture perfect young man and he made use of his physical features to attract so many girls that he had even lost count of how many he had been with.
"Um…it's nothing I think something flew into my eyes " she said drawing a triangle on her lap which was something she did whenever she was lying.
"Oh yeah? Something flew into your eyes" he said staring at the fingers which just drew the shape on her lap. She knew she had been exposed.
