In a certain place inside of Spring Land City, there was a person sitting on an impressive chair. He had the appearance of a middle aged man, with a thick mustache and stern looking facial expression.
In front of him, there was a man that looked to be subservient toward him, with his head looking down onto the ground. He had a good physique and fit body, with how straight his posture and trained-looking his body was.
"Are you sure with what you are saying right now?" The middle aged man asked with an authoritative tone mixed with a curiosity inside of it.
The man in front of him nodded his head, confirming what he had reported to the middle aged man. "It is true, My Lord. Enjar had already made his move toward the Wheatfield Village already. We can assume that at least he had gone to that village already.
"Hmm, so fast huh? I did not think that he would be making a move this fast already. Just what the hell is that man thinking? Is he asking for a suicide? That would be great honestly, heh." The man said with a mock grin.
"Coming into a horde of lions alone, without even bringing a single man with him, this man was truly an embodiment of enigma. I don't know what kind of plans he had inside of his mind, but he will be killed without even realizing what came toward him." The middle aged man said as he had a serious expression on his face.
"Those gangs were not something a man like him could demolish. Ever since I read that scroll at the first glance, I instinctively knew that something was up. And after I did some 1 + 1, it is clear that this gang at least is an experienced group of people that cannot be underestimated.
It is true that the prize itself was lucrative. Giving an area of land that had a pretty big size too. But the thing is that it is just impossible to defeat them. It is certainly impossible, especially not even bringing the manpower to overwhelm them.
And this madman decided to go there, without even preparing anything? Well, he might be doing some recon regarding that place, but still he is so daring going there in a matter of 2 to three days. Dang, I can't stop thinking about him now. Did I fall in love with him?" He said with a more mocking smile on his face, paired with a sarcastic voice inside of it.
"Anyway, If what you are saying is true, then we need to make our move too. This is certainly unexpected, and we also did not have the time to prepare things for it. But we naturally cannot let this chance go away.
This was also a chance for Kail to have some action to let out some frustrations that he bore inside of this heart. You watch his back and prepare the necessary things. We will proceed soon." The old man said as he laid his back onto the chair that he was sitting on. He could not help but be excited about what was to come.

Enjar arrived inside of the place where Alvred and his men were put. His steps woke the people inside of the place, at least for the people who were asleep here.
And naturally, the guards were not sleeping. They did not dare to.
"Mr. Enjar!" The guards shouted at the same time as they looked at the man that arrived quite abruptly. They did not know what kind of intentions that he had as he came in here.
"Relax. I'm here just to meet these locked up bandits here, heh." Enjar grinned as he gave them a sidelong glance. He walked past them and looked at the recently built prison-like setups.
They were placed in a way that it was going to be hard for them to do suspicious things, placing them by considering their ranks and importance, and such. Enjar especially looked at the direction where Alvred's place was located.
"So are you going to say it or not?" Enjar asked, looking through the eyes of Alvred that had a mix of bitterness, helplessness inside of it.
"What do you mean by that?" Alvred asked back while he did not avoid Enjar's eyes. He was still sitting, while still having injuries on his body. The adrenaline was gone, so the pain started to be felt more.
"I'm asking who sent you here? Do you think that I will believe that such a group like yours were not part of a nobility or such? Do you think I'm that foolish or what?" Enjar asked the seemingly obvious question.
The guards who could not help but hear what Enjar said, opened their eyes wide. They never even for once thought that these bandits were from a nobility!
Nobility? A noble's men that became bandits? What's going on? Were they fired, acting against the master? How could Enjar have guessed that?
"With these kinds of setups, the power to unleash energies that was hardly known in backwater places, even seasoned bandits would think thrice to consider living here. Take it as a compliment, you may.
And like what I just said, backwater place. What kind of intention are you trying to achieve in this kind of place? A place that was practically out of big civilization or something?"
Enjar asked with an intrigued expression on his face. He looked at the people in front of him and he looked at them keenly. He saw that when he explained what he had just said, there were at least 10 people who flinched, seemingly surprised from what they were hearing.
This kind of thing though, was unavoidable. They were defeated in a war, and now they were at the mercy of the other party.
Alvred had the look that he did not want to answer or explain what kind of circumstances they were in. As if he was a hard headed soldier that would do his mission and order until his last breath.
"Do I truly need to say this, because we can do it the hard way too. I don't even mind not getting any answer from you after torturing you till you all cannot even scream. What do you think?" A wicked smirk appeared on Enjar's face while flames appeared on his hand.
Gulp. Most of them subconsciously gulped down some saliva as they witnessed just how vicious this man could be. Just what kind of human are they trying to pick a fight with? Unless the people behind them were worthy of the sacrifice, would they truly mind this painful experience?
Alvred knew what the people around him were thinking. He looked down to the floor beneath him and sighed. It seemed that there was no other way for him to get out of this situation.
"Okay…. I will concede. Ask us whatever you want." Alvred said with a woeful expression drawn on his face.
"That's more like it. Who are you?" Enjar asked.
"We are the chosen soldiers from Count Perin to do a secret mission in this place." Alvred answered in compliance.
"Count Perin? …. I see. What is that secret mission of yours? Explain shortly if possible."
"We… are ordered to take over this village, and act as the bandits. Just like you may already know, we are not from the land under Earl Vanadis' authority. We are from the neighboring earl's area, Earl Kant." Alvred explained without a shred of hesitation inside of his eyes.
Earl reigned over Counts, Viscounts, and Barons. The more it went down, the more there were those positions under it. The land where Enjar stayed was under the jurisdiction of Earl Vanadis. While Earl Kant was the neighbor. It meant that they were two separate governments.
Enjar looked at the guards behind him and ordered him to close the doors, while they guarded him. In a polite way, it meant to pardon him because Enjar was going to extract some confidential information while the guards needed to be careful of some unknown variables. In a harsh way, it meant to get the hell out of here because I don't even trust you.
The guards obeyed Enjar's instruction and proceeded to leave the room, standing in front of the doors.
"I see then. So you are ordered to act as bandits, in this out of place village, in some way hiding your background. With this instance, it is clear that you did not intend to stay in this village for too long, huh? So what kind of things were you doing? Is there some kind of treasure around this area?" Enjar's eyes gleamed.
