Nothing happened. That's what I thought. But the box in my hand is the answer to it all.
"What's going on?"
For the second time tonight, the carriage stopped. I opened he curtains and slipped my head to call out Simon from the front.
"Please stay inside princess." Simon's voice echoed in the wide expanse of the clearing we are currently at.
I opened the latch to my door and stepped outside. My eyes trailed at the horizon, two moons shining brightly on the opposite side of the world, one with a tinge of orange while the other is white. I would say it's a beautiful night.
"What's going on?"
"Stay back princess. It seems there's someone-. Hey you!" Simon called out the driver and gestured his hand.
There are three of us and only Simon and I can fight. If it comes to an ambush, we might not survive.
The driver raised his hand and made a thumbs up.
We walked up to the person lying on the ground and what appeared before me almost made my heart stopped.
A girl not older than me lay naked on the ground. Her black long hair sprawled all over as she lay crouched like a baby.
The girl before us stirred.
"She's waking up."
The girl moved, her eyes fluttering as she's about to wake up.
"I have not seen her before." Simon commented seeing the white porcelain skin and black hair.
"She must be an oriental." The driver quipped.
"No. You're wrong." I muttered under my breath.
"What did you say, princess?"
No. You are wrong. Both of them are wrong. She's not oriental nor from this continent. She's not even from this world.
