"So, how's going?"
Irvyn looked back at the sudden question, which somehow felt like directed at him. Turning around, he found Rick standing right behind him.
"I guess… good?" For a second, Irvyn couldn't figure out how to respond. He could be confident about anything and everything, but Rick asked a question he wasn't sure what the correct answer should be, and thus felt zero confidence.
Rick turned his head ahead in the direction, where the kids were having fun in all smiles with Yvette, while Yvette seems to be engrossed in telling some sort of story to them, and happily chatting with Rory occasionally. It was always like this whenever she was in here, cheerful, happy. Just like how she is in nature, she would change the entire surrounding to be like her, blooming to the fullest. "Seems like you can be a bit more confident about that answer of yours."
