"Found you." Yvette halted as soon as she spotted Rick. grabbing both of her knees, she bent forward to catch her breath. Running all the way to somewhere slightly far away from the orphanage had her sleep-deprived body way more tired than it already was.
"Teacher? Why are you…" Baffled, Rick stood up, turning his head back at the sound of rushed footsteps, followed by a female voice. And realizing Rick looking somewhere else, Rory also turned around, looking in the same direction her Rick bro did. The shocked look on her was a sight to behold, as her round eyes became even rounder with surprise.
"Let me… just…" holding onto her knees wasn't enough for her, she soon realized as she stumbled onto the hard cold ground of the apartment rooftop. Rick thought she collapsed there, so he rushed out to her, gripping her shoulder to give her support. But coming closer, he realized she didn't lose consciousness.
