"I see you accepted them," Irvyn spoke up in response to her words of gratitude. Even though he sounded like he didn't care, his face barely justified his tone. His eyes clearly revealed how pleased he was.
"Yes, I had to. These are really beautiful." Yvette had her right hand grabbing the pendant tightly, while smiling at Irvyn with the brightest smile he had ever seen on her face. That was all it took to make him dazed by how bright she looked. He kept staring at the figure that happily climbed down the stairs. And with every move she made, the side locks of her hair which she had let down framing her face kept swaying gracefully, picking up an inaudible rhythm. Irvyn recalled her hair to be straight, but right now it had a beautiful even wave. Maybe she carefully did her hair today.
