Irvyn's words dropped a huge bomb on them, as they both were shocked to the point of not having any words in their mouth.
"You what?" Josh couldn't believe his ears, as he thought he might be still in a daze by all the panics he had regarding the meeting. "I must be hearing things, or maybe misheard…"
"You heard it right, Mr. Nelson. I am taking a leave today." Irvyn opened the door, and walked right into his house, leaving the flabbergasted secretary behind.
"Leave? Sir when the fvck did you start taking leaves?" Josh rushed behind Irvyn, his voice cracking up by how hopeless he started to feel by that response only. "Vinnie, why…"
"Words, Mr. Nelson." Irvyn uttered, his voice turning more into that of a serious business tone. Even though he was someone who always spoke in a deep monotone voice, devoid of any emotions, this much difference was somehow detectable by Yvette, like how he sounded like he wasn't joking, and is totally in business mode.
