Irvyn had the impression of a slight tremble in his hands, but quickly realized that it was actually hers that was quivering. When he looked to the side of him, he saw her looking at the tips of her toes.
"Is she nervous?" He was thinking to himself as he kept his gaze fixed on her.
When he turned his attention back to the crowd in front of him, the expression on his face was noticeably grimmer than it had been before.
"I suppose I have never given anyone the permission to begin hush-hush conversations or spreading rumors while I am still present here." Everyone in the room was rendered speechless by his thunderous voice. After that, he left the office room without making any further comment or announcement. Yvette was taken aback by his abrupt action, but she continued to trail behind him after giving a brief bow of acknowledgment to the crowd.
