"Good morning, teacher!" Rick peeked inside through the car window, as soon as the window was rolled down. He has been waiting outside his home all along, so that he can greet Yvette the moment she arrives.
"Good morning to you too, Rick." Yvette flashed a loving smile, waving at him.
"Could've actually been a good morning if that man wasn't there," he thought in his mind, giving a dissatisfied glare at Irvyn. But he didn't dare to voice out his inner thoughts. He was having a surge of mixed emotions so badly that he had to stand there dumbfounded for a couple of minutes yesterday, when Irvyn laid out the proposal to tag along. Not that he could actually express his intention to have a date with Yvette all alone.
Noticing how deadly glares Irvyn was getting from Rick, he peeked out as well from the seat beside Yvette, and gave a smirk at him. "Such a nice weather to hang out, don't you think so, Mr. Rick?"
