"Yvette, my job, for now, is done." Yvette got a call from Josh first thing in the morning, while she was just done having her breakfast. Josh made sure he kept Irvyn away from the house for the entire day today, so that he doesn't end up returning back home before they were done preparing for the party.
"Yeah, I heard him leaving home early." She recalled how she saw Irvyn rushing off to go to the office early in the morning. "Gosh, I kinda feel bad for him. He didn't get much sleep last night."
"W-what? Ahem, I mean, Yvette, I didn't really need to learn this side about my friend from your words." Josh got slightly embarrassed, as some bizarre thought came to his mind. With a faint blush on his cheeks, he scratched the back of his head.
"Josh, stop that wild train in your brain." Yvette coldly responded, before changing the topic. "You better be showing yourself up on time."
