"The lights aren't working?" Irvyn was surprised, seeing the house entirely dark. Usually, the automatic yellow lights would get turned on the moment someone entered the house, even if the entire house was put out. "I need to contact an electrician first thing tomorrow." He took his cell phone out of his pocket, to turn on the flashlights, but just then, a gentle rhythm caught his ears, making him stop in his motion.
"Is that... a piano?" He muttered in a low voice. Right at that moment, soft white and golden fairy lights lit up a couple of steps ahead of him, brightening up the view in front of him. More precisely, those lights lit up the person sitting in the middle of the living room, creating a gentle spotlight for her, while her delicate hands smoothly glided over the piano keys, and a serene look on her face.
