I didn't met Rashi for a long time. 10th class exams are completed and I am eagerly waiting for the results than the people who wrote the exams. Results are out and Rashi got 2nd rank and I am really disappointed.I met her after a week after results and she said,
"Reyansh, I will go to the hostel for my inter and I will really work hard a lot".
"You really worked hard Rashi", I said.
"I don't think so", she said.But I do think, I wanted to say.
"How are your studies going on", she asked.
"Great", I said.
"Good". she said. But there are 13 more people who are doing greater than me I thought.
"We will meet mostly after my inter again", she said.
I nodded my head as if I am ok with what she said.I didn't said anything and simply left her house.
My 10th class started and its like a express train, the syllabus is being completed quickly and assignments and tests became a daily routine within just a month of 10th class.
One day Amit came to me and said, "Hi Reyansh, lets forget what happened in the past".
"Ok", I said.
"You know what Reyansh, I want to become topper of the batch as my parents said that they would buy me a bike If I come first", Amit said.
"Of course, you will buddy", I said.
"Thanks, Reyansh",Amit said and went to the class.
Amit started working hard and I wanted him to get the bike he desired for.
As usual, I am walking near the dias thinking about my bondage with the school and how I met Rashi and my enemy at that time Amit became a good friend of mine now. As I am about to enter my class for Eglish Test , I saw Rashi again. I went towards Rashi and said,
"Hi Rashi, How are you and Why are you here now, Which college did you joined for inter and what branch?".
She simply said, "Too many questions Reyansh".
My English test is about to start but who cares, I am more interested in the answers Rashi is going to tell.
"I will meet you at lunch break", she said.
"Ok", I said and went to write the test and as soon as I submitted the test, I started roaming around the school searching for Rashi and met her near the dais.It made me remember how she asked my name and how I came to know about her name.
Rashi said, "Reyansh, I want you to become the topper of the batch".
I nodded my head, and she said, "Come on,will you become topper of the batch for me?".
"I will try my best for you but who knows what happens", I said.
"Ok then meet you later", she said and left the school.
I started my prepartion seriously and at the end I got 2nd highest, Amit got 3rd highest and Ishan came 1st, I am happy and sad as well, but realized that there is another person who is more sad and angry than me and it is Amit, his parents didn't brought him his bike.
