In the meantime...
A goblin managed to sneak past Shane's defenses and attached itself to his shoulder. The dagger in the monster's hand quickly finds itself buried deep into Shane's flesh around his shoulder.
"Aargh!" Shane wailed in pain when all his pain receptors went amok. His first response was to toss around on the ground and in midair to get rid of the goblin.
When that monster finally fell off from latching to his shoulder, the first thing Shane did was deliver the same pain as revenge. His Grand Iron sword swiftly dismembered one of the goblin's limbs before it could react.
As it was about to cry in pain, Shane continued and dismembered another limb. He did the same thing for the third time, aiming at the legs. Feeling that it could hardly soothe his anger, Shane beheaded the goblin on his fourth strike.
Only now did Shane notice the dagger was still on his left shoulder.
