The atmosphere in the room was getting colder as the man in the mask stare at Dane intensely.
Dane could felt the unpleasant feeling of coldness in the atmosphere.
Why do i feel a chill in the air? thought Dane unaware of the situation.
The man came towards Dane and sat down on the bed where Dane was laying.
" You really is one interesting creature aren't you" said the man.
Dane couldn't understand by what he meant.
" I was thinking to ask later but, i'm just too curious i don't think i can wait any longer" Dane was confused of what the man was talking about, so he asked him " what do you want to ask?"
The man looked at Dane and hold up his hand.
" The way you talk...even though we speak the same language, its diffrent, and this hand of yours is not some warrior hands nor a hand that a guy should possess" Dane became anxious when he heard the man.
Did he fine out something? its true that they speak in olden tone, what shall i do. Dane was in his own thought while ignoring the other guy.
" So tell me who are you? " Ask the man in a little stern voice which made Dane flinch.
" I...i am Dane..that's all i know, i don't know this place or how i get here, i don't know anyone " (Dane)
Its true, please believe me, i don't know why but i fell little secure around him. Dane thought while looking at the man, he couldn't see his face not even his eyes but he somehow felt save and protected, he has the felling that the man won't do him any harm.
As he was looking at the man in mask, the man could see that he was not lying.
I can see his eyes clearly saying the thruth, so where did he come from? i want to know. judging from his looks and his physical appearance, he doesn't seem to be someone from a poor family, i'm more curious now. The guy was thinking in his mind.
Then he snap out of his thoughts and said
" I see, anyway as i've help you, don't you think you need to pay me back?" ( The man)
" Pay you back?" (Dane)
" You think i'm generious enough to help you, treat you, carry you and even let you in to my bed ?"(The man)
"But i don't have any money " Dane said while facing down.
In his mind, Its true, he help me out from those creepy soldiers and even treat me, i should pay him back with something to show my gratitude but i'm pennyless now, i don't even have a house to stay, what shall i do. (Dane)
" Since you don't have anything to pay back...how about you become my personal maid" said the man, you can imagine a smirk behind his mask.
" Maid? but i'm not a..." Before Dane could finish his sentence, the man said " i know you're not a woman, my mistake i mean to say man servant"
Dane thought about it and agreed to the payment method.
Its okay as long as i have someone to depend on, at least i won't starve to dead in this world, about my safety, i can really cling to him, he's strong anyway. Dane thought.
" Now a servant shouldn't be in the master's bed right?" Said the man.
Dane looked at the man and said" Then where shall i stay?
The looked at Dane and thought, how can he be so free and unfearing towards me? Did he trust me so easily? i have to say, he's really bold.
" Forget it, sleep here for tonight, you will start working when we reach my mansion"( The man)
" What about you ? where will you sleep? " (Dane)
" Here of course, got a problem? you don't share room's with other you say? how do you know?" (the man)
Shit ! Dane how can you say that? (Dane)
" I was just kidding, i don't have any problem, i thought you
won't be comfortable, sharing bed with me" ( Dane)
The man just lay down on the bed beside Dane.
" Are you gonna sleep with your mask on" Asked Dane
" can't i ?" (The man)
" of course you can " Dane answer with an awkward smile.
The guy turned his head.
He really must be ugly to the point that he don't want to removed his mask even in bed, he must be afraid i'll see his face. Dane thought while looking at him with pitifull eyes.
The sky was slowly turning grey outside the window. The man woke up from his sleep and saw Dane sitting on the bed, his eyes where fixed towards the open window. He was Staring at the bird sitting on the branch of the peach tree through the window.
His mind was fully occupied by the little birdie, He didn't notice a pair of eyes were on him. When the man woke up looked at him, he notice Dane's beautifull eyes and can't help but to keep staring at him.
The man thought, how can there be a man so beautifull, it make's him wonder and more curious about him.
I get it why that filfhy thing was trying so hard to escape with him. He was talking about the sage soldier earlier, who has his dirty thought on Dane.
As the guy was staring at him, Dane notice him.
" You're awake?" Asked Dane.
The man sit up while facing Dane.
" What were you looking at?" ( The man)
" Nothing" (Dane)
" Why don't you take rest? you're not tired at all?" ( the man)
" I am... its just that i can't sleep" ( Dane)
" Why?" Asked the man.
Dane was hesitant to say, yet he told him the reason.
" I'm Hungry, i didn't eat the whole day"(Dane)
