Francis Tan is a man full of contradiction. The father figure in Cecille's memories is a man full of dignity but always gentle towards her and her mother. He is strict but he is not a dictator in their house. He is a serious man while facing his employees but soft and kind in front of his family.
Cecille thought she already knew her father so well. But when she saw the livid Francis at that time, she was forced to see a reality that there is still a side of her father that she never saw before. The anger and madness in his eyes while staring at her mother made Cecille tremble in fear.
Francis demanded his wife sign their divorce paper. He also mentioned that once Sarah signed it, she will move out of their house but their daughter Cecille will stay with him. Sarah tried to beg them not to do that to her. Although Sarah feels scared because of her husband's sudden change of attitude towards her, she begged him not to divorce her.
