The next day, Garret requested to be alone. He also told Adrianna not to visit them in the meantime. It doesn't mean Garret hated her existence near him. He just simply wants to think all by himself.
After calming himself down, Garret called their family lawyer. When he arrived they goes straight to the doctor's office. The doctor just finished checking up on his patient and was about to visit his foster father and see his condition. But when he saw Garret and his lawyer, the doctor quickly invited them inside the office and ask them to sit first. When he asked if they needed anything, Garret did not waste more time and told him the reason for his visit.
"I... I am now ready... to let my father go."
Before the doctor can say anything, Garret continued.
"But please, give me one more day. I just want one more day to spend with my father. After that, you can do what you need to do with him. Is that alright?"
