Chapter 3 - Three

There was nothing but water to see. She took one root and bit into it. As you ache, the sky brightened up a little. In a short time, an incredible thing happened.

From behind the dark clouds, the sun turned out. It was a beautiful sight. This hasn't really been seen every day. Sometimes it goes half a year after the sun can't see. Roxana stood up, closed her eyes and set her face straight to the sun. She felt the heat and a kind of relief in these hardships. She wished this moment had lasted much longer. Even all day. She no longer noticed the ashes and heated her face under the falling rays. For a long time, she sat with her eyes closed until she was blown away by the impact that threw her from the raft backwards into the water. When she recovered, she started swimming. But the water reached her knees. The raft sailed into the shallows, where this gigantic newly formed lake ends. In front of her was just shalloe, after which she made her way towards the shore. The sun was still shining and the ashes were falling on her hair. She sat on the floor and wondered how she was going to go next. Which way will he go? In front of her there were high mountains, on the peaks covered in snow. This obstacle has created a dischriilment for life in it. The snow didn't fall any longer, just the endless ash covered everything around. Slowly, she picked up and took to the woods, not knowing where. When she listened to the sounds coming out of the woods, she seemed to hear a human scream. Well, maybe it's just delusions of fatigue and wandering. As she walked into the woods, voices grew stronger. They were more comprehensible. They mixed with screams and laughter. There were even lights showing up from among the trees. It was the fires that people were setting up running up and down. Roxana came undetectively approached and snached behind a large thick tree. She quietly watched the scenery and tried to navigate the chaos. Three fires were set and two people stood by each. On the first, old men flocked. The second was about Roxan's age, and the third was about 10-year-olds.

When she saw there was no danger, she weighed herself and stepped in. She moved them in the direction of the heart jammed somewhere between the ribs. Two, probably parents, registered her and immediately grabbed some metal objects in her hands. It was clear that they were fighting. Roxana stopped and noticed. She let them know that she comes with good intentions and doesn't want to hurt anyone. When they explained it and understood it, they sat back to the fire and signalled with their hands that she would sit down with them. At first they were just looking at each other uncertainly, but after a while a young man, maybe in his 30s, spoke. He started telling the story of his ancestors who lived in the area and they are their fifth generation. They inhabit an underground entrance, which is actually a smaller cave. Occasionally they go out and burn fires so that they can bake rodents that are located underground. The catastrophe that struck this country was survived by their ancestors because they were research staff for cave areas. They were at work at the time of the bang and as a result they stayed alive. A woman sat quietly by the fire and stared into the fire. She couldn't talk. She was not. Children chased around them among the fires and sang unfamiliar songs. After a while, the woman stood up and offered Roxana baked meat. The old people were talking about a kind of dog on the next fire. He said he attacked a tribe living far from here in the great lakes. Twelve people were killed. They reportedly had no weapons and had no way of defending themselves. The old men at the outbreak were blind. They basked in the fire and apparently weren't interested in sharing stories. The children settled down after a while and also got their meat romes and started talking about the countryside across the ocean. There's been an all-night debate about this promised land. Children want to go to Mexico so they can live as children in Mexico, where there are funfairs and a number of small planes on which Mexican children are chasing over the plains and deserts. The stories about it are familiar to all the children and they tell each other the night before bed. It is the only country on the globe that it remained untouched by the horrors and bang that devastated everything that stood in its way. What has been most devastated is this unnamed country, with which Roxana wanders and discovers its nooks and pitfalls. They talked long into the night, the ashes fell on their furs, but they didn't pay attention to it. When the children fell asleep by the fire after endless conversations, the two of them also fell asleep and everyone was in their place. There was silence, only in the distance could the starvation of hungry beasts be heard. Roxana fell asleep with a spear in her hand as the right defender and fighter. The night was quiet. Ash buried the surrounding area and a soothing crackling of wood could be heard in the focal areas. Roxana woke up in the morning, but she stayed immovable for a long time. She realized there was no one around her any longer. He can't hear the baby screaming or the speech. She slowly sat down and took off her heavy fur. It was gray and there was still smoke from the outbreak. She was struck by the feeling that she was not quite alone and there was a danger somewhere. She jumped out with a spear in her hand on her straight legs, but no one could be seen anywhere. Where's everybody? Maybe they returned to the cave... Actually, no. Returned. At the second outbreak, snippets of fur lay on the ground. All the fur was torn down at the nearest tree! And at the second tree another... And a few steps away was the disfigured body of an old man who sat by the fire and didn't eat anything all evening. When Roxana realized what had happened, she took the last pieces of baked meat from the fireplace and headed out into the woods. She continued west. It went in a direction where, at times, energy rays can be seen flying over the ocean from the wonder landscape. In a slow and tired step, she walked through the woods and wondered where others had come from the fires. Behind his back, a whisper could suddenly be heard. She turned sharply. Opposite it, face-to-face brushed the teeth of a wild dog. His sinisterly crouched legs indicated preparation for the attack. Roxana took a combat stance and headed the spear straight into his field of view. If he jumps, he doesn't stand a chance. A spear would stick it like a fish on a hook. The beast watched Roxana through her eyes and haunted her with different attitudes. Roxana used psychological combat tactics. She took the first step opposite the dog. The one with surprise reversed. And the next step. Retreat again. It was repeated five more times and the dog understood that this fight was lost to him. He lay down and disgustedly closed. Roxana turned around and continued her journey. Sometimes she looked at the dog, but there was nowhere to be seen. And so she wandered the woods with the caution of the defender. When the ground started shaking out of nowhere, she slowed down. Concussions have warned that disasters are coming again, with unpredictable consequences. She sat under the nearest tree waiting to see what was going to happen. The earth was shaking, more and more, and the gusty winds picked up. You had to cover your face so she didn't accidentally lose sight of the explosion. Everything was shaking, the storm was breaking trees and drifting everything that wasn't attached to the ground. There was a terrible scream in the woods. Wild dogs ran past Roxana and didn't even notice her.
